Wang Yu

In a remote jungle nestled between Chu City and Whitewater City within the Da  Xuan Country, a thin and frail figure was leaning against a thick tree trunk.  Both of his legs were spread apart in a relaxed manner. 

This figure belonged to a thirteen or fourteen-year-old teenager. 

Aside from his unusually pale face, the boy had fairly common facial features.  His clothes were loose-fitting and a bright shining steel sword was carelessly thrown by his side.

Although he had not stared at the crystal wall for too long, he had still seen the vague silhouettes that the Zhong surnamed Daoist nun had mentioned.


However, the appearance of these figures occurred after he had deeply succumbed to the enchanting power of the crystal wall, which made him unsure whether the images truly emerged on the crystal wall or were merely hallucinations reflected in his own mind.


According to the Zhong surnamed Daoist nun, these fuzzy shadows were indeed an existence that seemed real yet not real, false yet not false. Some people had managed to comprehend something from these silhouettes, but many more, because of becoming deeply engrossed in them, simply wasted a whole night of contemplation for nothing. As for how one viewed them, naturally, it depended on individual choice.
