In a remote jungle nestled between Chu City and Whitewater City within the Da  Xuan Country, a thin and frail figure was leaning against a thick tree trunk.  Both of his legs were spread apart in a relaxed manner. 

This figure belonged to a thirteen or fourteen-year-old teenager. 

Aside from his unusually pale face, the boy had fairly common facial features.  His clothes were loose-fitting and a bright shining steel sword was carelessly thrown by his side. 

Demon's Diary

"It's so late, why would Master Qian be here? Could there be some urgent matter you need from Qian Ming?" As soon as Liu Ming saw the person in the room, he immediately asked with some surprise.


This person was none other than the owner of Qian Mansion, Qian Chao.


"Mr. Qian, the reason I am here is actually to bring you good news. The Ice Silver Grass you requested, my subordinates have finally managed to procure a plant from another store. However, I need you to personally examine it, to see if it truly fits the purpose?" Qian Chao immediately stood up, his face brimming with a smile, as he spoke.


"Is that so? I must have a look at it right away," said Liu Ming, naturally overjoyed upon hearing this.


Qian Chao then took out a wooden box from his sleeve and handed it over with a smile.


Liu Ming caught the wooden box and opened it—a faintly silver three-leafed spirit grass was revealed, its surface faintly emitting wisps of cold air.
