In a remote jungle nestled between Chu City and Whitewater City within the Da  Xuan Country, a thin and frail figure was leaning against a thick tree trunk.  Both of his legs were spread apart in a relaxed manner. 

This figure belonged to a thirteen or fourteen-year-old teenager. 

Aside from his unusually pale face, the boy had fairly common facial features.  His clothes were loose-fitting and a bright shining steel sword was carelessly thrown by his side.

But in the midst of such circumstances, a sudden change erupted within the battle below.


Suddenly, Dowager Empress Dong waved her jade ruyi, unleashing a vast expanse of white light that forcefully repelled Hu Chunniang several steps back. Then, with a few flashes, she appeared at Xuanzhi's side.


"Zhi'er, it seems we have no choice but to use that move. Cast the spell quickly! If you delay, I'm afraid Sister-in-law Lin won't be able to hold on much longer," Dowager Empress Dong said to Xuanzhi in a rush, her face showing signs of urgency.


"Mother, do we really need to resort to this secret technique? It doesn't seem like it's reached that point yet. If I use it, the aftermath could be quite severe," Xuanzhi, who was continuously commanding two Sea Clan beast phantoms to besiege Feng Long with one hand, couldn't help but show a hesitant look upon hearing her words.
