In a remote jungle nestled between Chu City and Whitewater City within the Da  Xuan Country, a thin and frail figure was leaning against a thick tree trunk.  Both of his legs were spread apart in a relaxed manner. 

This figure belonged to a thirteen or fourteen-year-old teenager. 

Aside from his unusually pale face, the boy had fairly common facial features.  His clothes were loose-fitting and a bright shining steel sword was carelessly thrown by his side.

The gatekeeping disciple saw that the youth in the green robe of the Barbarian Ghost Sect seemed to be acquainted with Qian Rupin and immediately let the cyan mechanical flying boat they were on enter without further questioning.


Atop the flying boat, Qian Rupin, with an excited face, tugged at Liu Ming's sleeve. Her beautiful eyes shone with delight, and her smile was as radiant as a flower, which warmed Liu Ming's heart.

Upon returning to the sect with Hu Chunniang, the young girl was first arranged to become an outer door disciple and, under the recommendation of Hu Chunniang, began studying the ways of array formations under an array master with whom Hu had a good relationship.
