In a remote jungle nestled between Chu City and Whitewater City within the Da  Xuan Country, a thin and frail figure was leaning against a thick tree trunk.  Both of his legs were spread apart in a relaxed manner. 

This figure belonged to a thirteen or fourteen-year-old teenager. 

Aside from his unusually pale face, the boy had fairly common facial features.  His clothes were loose-fitting and a bright shining steel sword was carelessly thrown by his side.

But as soon as the bizarre behemoth appeared, it shot across the sky with a boom like dull thunder, charging straight toward Li Kun, sending layers of blue ripples cascading through the void it traversed.


Seeing this, Li Kun's pupils slightly constricted as he tossed the dark, lustrous staff in his hand into the air, forming hand seals with one hand and began to chant.


In an instant, the dark, lustrous staff swelled in the wind, elongating to nearly fifty zhang. At the same time, dazzling silver light surged skywards from the staff, casting the surrounding area in its glowing embrace.
