In a remote jungle nestled between Chu City and Whitewater City within the Da  Xuan Country, a thin and frail figure was leaning against a thick tree trunk.  Both of his legs were spread apart in a relaxed manner. 

This figure belonged to a thirteen or fourteen-year-old teenager. 

Aside from his unusually pale face, the boy had fairly common facial features.  His clothes were loose-fitting and a bright shining steel sword was carelessly thrown by his side.

Puppet's voice had hardly faded when a flip of his palm and a flash of red light suddenly produced a blood-red token in the center of his hand.


The token was very ancient in design, with a smooth and unblemished surface about the size of a palm, emitting a faint scent of blood.


A sinister look flashed in Puppet's eyes as he lightly tapped the token with a finger, and immediately a stream of pure mana infused into it.


At the center of the token, a crimson dot suddenly shone bright. It expanded and contracted, then transformed into a rapidly spinning halo of blood-red light which quickly swelled and spread, enveloping the token's surface in a crimson layer.


As the red light flickered, a series of intricate, crisscrossing patterns emerged on the surface of the token. The patterns were a pale gold color, creating a bizarre and eerie interplay with the crimson light.


With a loud shout from Puppet, he suddenly tossed the item in his hand above his head.
