In a remote jungle nestled between Chu City and Whitewater City within the Da  Xuan Country, a thin and frail figure was leaning against a thick tree trunk.  Both of his legs were spread apart in a relaxed manner. 

This figure belonged to a thirteen or fourteen-year-old teenager. 

Aside from his unusually pale face, the boy had fairly common facial features.  His clothes were loose-fitting and a bright shining steel sword was carelessly thrown by his side.

Liu Ming, after these days of surveying within the mining vein, had already discovered that these ores, which were precious and rare in the outside world, were not found everywhere even in the deeper regions of the vein.


And even if he found an area where ores were relatively concentrated, relying solely on his own strength with his magic power suppressed, merely splitting open these hard rock walls was a very time-consuming and labor-intensive task.


The reason this mining tunnel was abandoned by the original slaves was mostly because by the time they dug here, they realized the ores they could find were of average quality or the quantities were not satisfying, so they simply gave up on it entirely.

Firstly, this location was far away from the main vein, and within the entire vein, it was quite remote; secondly, the abandoned mine was unlikely to attract attention.
