In a remote jungle nestled between Chu City and Whitewater City within the Da  Xuan Country, a thin and frail figure was leaning against a thick tree trunk.  Both of his legs were spread apart in a relaxed manner. 

This figure belonged to a thirteen or fourteen-year-old teenager. 

Aside from his unusually pale face, the boy had fairly common facial features.  His clothes were loose-fitting and a bright shining steel sword was carelessly thrown by his side.

Although my sect has some influence in the North Lakes area, once we reach the Tongyang Mountain Range, I still require Master Zuo's support," the man in a blue shirt said as he accepted the token, smiling slightly. However, the muscles of his face were stiff, making his smile look more like a twitch.


"Haha, Taoist Friend Ye jests. Since my Treasure Pavilion is open for business, naturally we spare no effort in assisting friends. However, based on what you just mentioned, it seems you have met me before?" Zuo Gongquan replied, unbothered by the implication.


"This is my first visit here, but a friend of mine with the surname Wu came to the Tongyang Mountains five years ago in search of a rare herb and had acquainted himself with Master Zuo," the man in blue stated solemnly, his statement ambiguous between truth and falsehood.
