In a remote jungle nestled between Chu City and Whitewater City within the Da  Xuan Country, a thin and frail figure was leaning against a thick tree trunk.  Both of his legs were spread apart in a relaxed manner. 

This figure belonged to a thirteen or fourteen-year-old teenager. 

Aside from his unusually pale face, the boy had fairly common facial features.  His clothes were loose-fitting and a bright shining steel sword was carelessly thrown by his side.

A dazzling red mushroom cloud burst forth explosively, a pillar of crimson fire surged skyward amidst the explosion, and for a moment, the figures of the Min-named man and the blue-armored evil ghost commander were nowhere to be seen.


Close to where the two were battling, the dozens of ghost soldiers who had initially been there were instantly swallowed by the pillar of fire, disappearing without even a chance to scream as a massive shockwave spread out violently. The explosion's fury instantly swept across nearly a hundred feet of the area, forcing the evil ghost officers and soldiers to hastily retreat. The cylindrical black light screen on the perimeter trembled wildly in the blast.


The red-haired evil ghost commander's complexion changed dramatically at the sight, no longer concerned with pursuing Liu Ming and his companion, his figure flashed as he moved to throw himself towards the site of the explosion.
