In a remote jungle nestled between Chu City and Whitewater City within the Da  Xuan Country, a thin and frail figure was leaning against a thick tree trunk.  Both of his legs were spread apart in a relaxed manner. 

This figure belonged to a thirteen or fourteen-year-old teenager. 

Aside from his unusually pale face, the boy had fairly common facial features.  His clothes were loose-fitting and a bright shining steel sword was carelessly thrown by his side.

Liu Ming's position was tens of miles ahead of the forest, where two towering black peaks suddenly rose from the flat ground, each thousands of feet high. The mountain fortress was built between these two peaks, covering an area that was likely several hundred miles in size, almost ten times the size of Gold Light city.


The agreed meeting place was at a secret location near the fortress, still some distance away from their current position.


However, traversing this distance would not be an easy task.


With the fortress's main city as the center, many small, tower-like buildings were scattered nearby, where ghost soldiers could faintly be seen pacing back and forth.


Patrol teams also roamed the vicinity of the fortress from time to time, the defenses exceptionally tight.
