In a remote jungle nestled between Chu City and Whitewater City within the Da  Xuan Country, a thin and frail figure was leaning against a thick tree trunk.  Both of his legs were spread apart in a relaxed manner. 

This figure belonged to a thirteen or fourteen-year-old teenager. 

Aside from his unusually pale face, the boy had fairly common facial features.  His clothes were loose-fitting and a bright shining steel sword was carelessly thrown by his side.

Taitian fortress, located more than ten miles north, was shrouded by several enormous pitch-black ghost clouds hovering above a chain of misty mountains.


Within the ghost clouds, the vague silhouettes of four unusually tall evil spirits stood side by side, gazing in the direction of Taitian fortress.


These four evil spirits emitted an extremely formidable aura, all remarkably being ghost commanders of the Astral Realm!


"By now, the number of ghosts gathered below Taitian fortress has already surpassed thirty thousand. That should be enough," said the ghost commander on the left with fiery red eyebrows and red luminescence flickering in his pupils, retracting his gaze and turning to the others.


"Including those previously slain by the Taitian formation, it is more than sufficient," the ghost commander next to him, clad in white bone armor with green hair, nodded woodenly in agreement.
