In a remote jungle nestled between Chu City and Whitewater City within the Da  Xuan Country, a thin and frail figure was leaning against a thick tree trunk.  Both of his legs were spread apart in a relaxed manner. 

This figure belonged to a thirteen or fourteen-year-old teenager. 

Aside from his unusually pale face, the boy had fairly common facial features.  His clothes were loose-fitting and a bright shining steel sword was carelessly thrown by his side.

Liu Ming left the tavern and went directly to a grand hall in the center of Qingyue City.


Many of the cities in Jiuyou have transfer arrays connected to each other, and sometimes the Netherworld Clan individuals who travel alone would use these arrays to save time or for safety considerations, although the cost is not small.


Liu Ming transferred through several arrays and arrived at a bustling city. He then familiarly made his way through a few streets and came to a quiet courtyard.


This was the temporary residence he had rented.


Inside a secret chamber of the courtyard, Liu Ming sat cross-legged on a cushion with a thoughtful expression on his face.


Encountering Taoist Friend Yin turned out to be an accidental benefit; however, the man always exuded a mysterious air. His intentions were still unknown, and Liu Ming knew he needed to be cautious.
