It is said that the true meaning of a mage is to fully understand the truth of the world. A mage named Saleen Metatrin goes on many missions as a normal mage to try and change his fate. This in turn led to many problems and adventures.

Saleen knew what was going on in Nailisi's mind, but he was unable to change anything. Nailisi was an imp, and Myers Mainland was not her home.

While demons had long lives, they were indifferent about life and death. Demons would not be sad after seeing hundreds or even thousands of their own die right before them. Unless such deaths involved their spouses, demons were not known for shedding tears.

Saleen thought that maybe Nailisi had the same thoughts about humans.

None of them spoke during the journey, and Saleen took the few at his side straight to Metatrin City. He did not even bother taking a detour to Lonestar City. Fycro's news was just too shocking.

Saleen did not assemble the nobles after getting home either, going straight to meet his teacher to tell his teacher about what Fycro said.
