The plane finally landed in Tel Aviv, and after leaving the airport through a special passage, Gao Yang and his group immediately felt the tense atmosphere in Israel. Soldiers in uniform were visible everywhere on the streets, and among these soldiers, many were young and beautiful girls—a unique sight not commonly found in other countries.
Many soldiers on the streets were strolling around, but all of them carried their rifles—M16s, M4s, and Tavor assault rifles developed and manufactured by Israel. One thing the rifles had in common was that their magazines were removed; however, they were kept in the most accessible places on the body or fixed to the weapon, ready to be loaded and fired at a moment's notice.
