Mercenary's War

There was enough food and water in the camp, and the first thing the Angel Mercenary Corps did after taking over the camp was to start cooking. Everyone had gone an entire day without eating or drinking and had been through intense combat at that, but nobody mentioned this fact, even though it didn't mean they weren't feeling hungry.


The others had already eaten, and after eating, they couldn't rest immediately. The camp's original defense system was something Nate looked down upon, and now the people of the Angel Mercenary Corps were already starting to construct temporary shelters, set up guard posts, and arrange firing positions. The rest were busy moving bodies out of the camp for a mass burial.


The people of the Angel Mercenary Corps prepared a sumptuous dinner. Everyone else had already eaten, and Gao Yang and Li Jinfang, who hadn't eaten yet, sat at the table gobbling up their food.
