Bruce wasn't tall or hefty, and the clothes Polovich had prepared for him were a bit large. However, dressed in a black suit, a pristine white shirt, and shiny leather shoes, Bruce looked as though he was peacefully asleep.
In fact, while he was alive, Bruce had never seemed so at peace. As a military medic, he always appeared very serious and he hardly ever wore suits.
At that moment, Eileen finally seemed like a woman, glancing at Bruce and suddenly tilting her head, covering her mouth to start sobbing.
Mansour Kich pulled a white lily from the bouquet, gently placed the bouquet beside Bruce, then took out a knife, cut the lily shorter, and placed the flower into the left chest pocket of Bruce's suit.
Kneeling on one knee in front of Bruce, Mansour Kich said with a deep voice, "Hello, Bruce, you don't know me; I represent Polovich. He sent me to deliver these flowers to you, and, you were a tough man. I respect you a lot."
