No matter how grand the funeral was, it was still a funeral, meant for the living to see, the dead could not enjoy anything from it. Gao Yang was well aware of this, but he still could not bear to see Bruce buried so plainly.
The funeral ended, and everyone returned to where they came from. The crowd at the cemetery dispersed, leaving only Gao Yang and a few others with Bruce's family.
Gao Yang had Little Donnie take Mrs. William and Lucica home, while he and Jansen needed to see the band off.
He didn't know everyone in the band; they were many, and except for two who lived in America, almost all were from Europe.
The band played for free, Jansen didn't have to pay a dime to bring them, but whether they came from the United Kingdom, the European Continent, or even other parts of America, they had to pay for their flight tickets.
Gao Yang was already very grateful that these band members could come, but letting them pay out of pocket was not his style.
