Gao Yang drove alone to an address the cleaner had given him, now in a busier part of the city. Though it was night, many cars were still parked along the road.


Gao Yang circled the agreed spot but saw no one, so he dialed the contact number left for him.


Upon answering the call, the other party made no sound. Gao Yang was used to the cleaners' mysterious ways, so he began, "I am Ram, I've arrived, alone. I'm in a black Ford sedan."


"I see you, stop, get out alone, turn around, and stand under the brightest streetlamp."


Following the instructions, Gao Yang positioned himself under a streetlamp and after halting, heard on the phone, "Turn around on the spot, move slowly, I need to verify your identity."


After Gao Yang slowly turned around, the voice on the phone said, "At your four o'clock, there is a silver sedan. Walk towards it and stand with your back to the passenger door."
