Chapter One Thousand and Seventy-Six: Nice to Meet You

Gao Yang's attitude dampened Marshall's interest in conversation. After discussing a few details, he got up and left.

Gao Yang returned to the corridor outside the operating room, where other than the bustling medical staff, only the uninjured mercenaries, including him, were present.

After sitting down, Gao Yang took a deep breath and asked Li Jinfang next to him, "Has there been any news from the operating room?"

Li Jinfang shook his head, saying, "No, it seems it won't be over for a while, probably not until dawn."

At that moment, Eileen spoke with a look of helplessness, "I hate hospitals. I can't stand the feeling of waiting in a hospital. It's just awful."

Gao Yang replied solemnly, "On the contrary, I like hospitals. Although being in a hospital is tormenting, at least there is hope there."

If you're dead, there's no need for a hospital. Being able to be rushed to a hospital for emergency care gives at least some hope.
