However, the main characters that awaken during this phenomenon aren't humans, but cats...

TL's Intro：

Zhao Yao, the protagonist of the story, is the most ordinary man you could possibly imagine. Since graduating from college, he had been engulfed by his bureaucratic workplace and its toxic environment. To make things worse, he has neither a car, money nor a girlfriend. The only silver lining was his fat and lazy cat, Matcha, which provided a semblance of company and friendship.

However, things were about to change drastically for Zhao Yao and Matcha. One shooting star will transform their lives into anything but ordinary.

After all, an earthquake was no common occurrence in Jianghai City. Meanwhile, the onset of the earthquake coincided perfectly with Rice Cake's disappearance. Even an idiot would suspect that Rice Cake had something to do with it. Just one year ago, Rice Cake did cause a small-scale earthquake within Jianghai City because of her bodily pains.

With worry continually gnawing at him, Zhao Yao sped up even more as he shouted in Xiao Yu's direction, "Hurry up!"

Xiao Yu was bewildered by Zhao Yao's sudden change in tone and asked, "What happened?"

Zhao Yao responded in his usual calm voice, "I have a bad feeling."

With that said, he had already bolted forward, moving in the direction which Inspector Ho had pointed towards.

Meanwhile, Cheese was baffled by Rice Cake's behavior. She just kept crying and showed no signs of stopping anytime soon.
