TL's Intro：

Zhao Yao, the protagonist of the story, is the most ordinary man you could possibly imagine. Since graduating from college, he had been engulfed by his bureaucratic workplace and its toxic environment. To make things worse, he has neither a car, money nor a girlfriend. The only silver lining was his fat and lazy cat, Matcha, which provided a semblance of company and friendship.

However, things were about to change drastically for Zhao Yao and Matcha. One shooting star will transform their lives into anything but ordinary.

"Don't worry," Lin Chen retrieved the illusion-enhanced collar which he had received from Zhao Yao and continued assuredly, "This is rather useful. Coupled with my current strength, I can take down Talon on my own."

However, Lin Chen's unbridled optimism was met with Inspector Ho's sigh, "Do not immediately use this the moment you touch down over there."

Lin Chen froze momentarily before finally reacting to Inspector Ho's words, "You don't trust them?"

Inspector Ho answered, "Under such circumstances, we cannot afford to trust anyone. Hence, do not tell them about the power of this collar. Do not use it unless the situation absolutely calls for it."

Inspector Ho's worries started gnawing at Lin Chen as a line etched between his brows, "Is the situation really so bad?"
