However, the main characters that awaken during this phenomenon aren't humans, but cats...

During this event, this same thought appeared in the minds of countless cats: "Am I a god?"

Zhao Yao, an ordinary human, is the only person that can control these super cats.

TL's Intro：

Zhao Yao, the protagonist of the story, is the most ordinary man you could possibly imagine. Since graduating from college, he had been engulfed by his bureaucratic workplace and its toxic environment. To make things worse, he has neither a car, money nor a girlfriend. The only silver lining was his fat and lazy cat, Matcha, which provided a semblance of company and friendship.

However, things were about to change drastically for Zhao Yao and Matcha. One shooting star will transform their lives into anything but ordinary.

A black sheriff cat sat uneasily in a metal cage. Beside him were other supercats whose thoughts filled his mind.

"What shall I do? What shall I do?"

"We are doomed once we are captured by the Headless Horseman!"

"I heard he likes to play with cats. We will surely be played to death."

After hearing the panicky thoughts of the nearby cats, the black sheriff supercat shook his head and shut off his superpower. He felt better when all was quiet.

An obese black and white cat came to the cage and sized him up before saying, "Are you sheriff? The mind reading supercat?"

The black sheriff supercat looked intensely at Roly Poly and listened to his thoughts.

Roly Poly thought, "If you listen to my thoughts, I will torture you to death."

"Well…" The sheriff said reluctantly, "Yes, I am. Though I can read minds, I don't usually use it as it affects my quality of life."
