However, the main characters that awaken during this phenomenon aren't humans, but cats...

During this event, this same thought appeared in the minds of countless cats: "Am I a god?"

Zhao Yao, an ordinary human, is the only person that can control these super cats.

TL's Intro：

Zhao Yao, the protagonist of the story, is the most ordinary man you could possibly imagine. Since graduating from college, he had been engulfed by his bureaucratic workplace and its toxic environment. To make things worse, he has neither a car, money nor a girlfriend. The only silver lining was his fat and lazy cat, Matcha, which provided a semblance of company and friendship.

However, things were about to change drastically for Zhao Yao and Matcha. One shooting star will transform their lives into anything but ordinary.

On the Book, the ability tree representing the power to regenerate slowly became grey.

When Zhao Yao took a step forward, all the flesh on his body was torn and as the power to regenerate was being discharged out of his body. For the first time, Zhao Yao understood the pain of being torn into thousand pieces.

After taking a step, Zhao Yao could no longer move. All his perseverance and will power was thrown to the back of his mind as he fell to the floor. All that was left in his brain was the pain.

He raised his head and looked at the alarming power. When he tried to get up, his consciousness was engulfed by the pain.

Then, the Book lit up and the ability tree to regenerate lit up again.

Zhao Yao was shocked. "This is…"

At the same time where the Book lit up again, Zhao Yao no longer felt pain. The feeling of incredible comfort returned to his body.

"The power of regeneration is back? Is it the effect of the Book?"
