TL's Intro：

Zhao Yao, the protagonist of the story, is the most ordinary man you could possibly imagine. Since graduating from college, he had been engulfed by his bureaucratic workplace and its toxic environment. To make things worse, he has neither a car, money nor a girlfriend. The only silver lining was his fat and lazy cat, Matcha, which provided a semblance of company and friendship.

However, things were about to change drastically for Zhao Yao and Matcha. One shooting star will transform their lives into anything but ordinary.

Zhao Yao looked at the Level 12 Asser and was curious. Besides his supercats and the alien cats, it was his first time encountering other cats with the power of awareness.

"Sheriff, are you able to read his thoughts?"

Sheriff, who was hidden in Zhao Yao's chest frowned as he listened intently with his ears. He shook his ears and said, "Not very clear. I could only hear simple phrases.

From the meeting until now, I heard beef steak ten times, cramps five times and the name Arria once."

"Beef steak? Cramps? Arria?" Zhao Yao was puzzled, "What's the meaning?"

Sheriff was unable to hear all his thoughts and it was just as Zhao Yao expected. After control of awareness, supercats were resistant to superpowers. A Level 12 supercat was able to resist most of Sheriff's mind reading.

For Level 15 Diana, Sheriff could only hear one or two phrases in an hour.
