The Greek word nostos means return and Algos means suffering so when someone is in nostalgia or nostalgic its not as appeasing as it sounds, it tends to dramatically mean the opposite where a person or in the case junior me had held unto the suffering caused by an unappeased yearning to return. How pitiful.
