Ever since Lin Feng had given Grand Alchemist Mo the egg he had some suspicions. Could the flaming jungle fowl be worth so much if the egg was so cheap?

However, he just pushed it to the back of his head, after all it was too late to do anything now.

Right now what was important was to take care of the little fellow and improve his image in alchemist Mo's eyes.

Right at this moment Beast Tamer Shan turned towards him.

"Lin Feng, although the jungle fowl may be acting docile for now, raising such a strong spirit beast will be no easy task!"

Lin Feng bobbed his head enthusiastically.

"Do you think this guy look cuddly?"

Lin Feng bobbled his head.

"Do you think you can raise these fowl and make it obedient to you by feeding it some rice?"

Lin Feng bobbled once more.

"Haha" Beast tamer Shan laughed out loud.

"What a moron"

"After three months this little guy will be reach qi condensation realm. Don't think about brainwashing it with some rice. By then it'll treat you as a worm."

Chicken bobbed his head.

Lin Feng felt shocked!!!

What the fuck… All I do is feed it rice and it'll be qi condensation realm.

What???

Qi Condensation Realm!!!

Lin Feng had tirelessly practiced martial arts for that last several years of his life. He had coughed countless hundreds of mouthfuls of blood, risking life and limb for even the smallest of dregs of cultivation resources. Even so, despite all his efforts, he had only reached the peak of Flesh Strengthening stage!!!

Lin Feng intestines were turning green from envy. He was already almost 20 years old now. If his cultivation speed did not improve, much less be unrivaled under the Heavens, even reaching the Qi Condensation realm would be nothing more than just a pipe dream!

He was less than an egg on the street. His self esteem had been crushed.

Wait a moment. At this moment an evil thought ran through his head. This glory could be his too. Don't some demonic cultivators steal cultivation bases? All he would have to do is steal the chicken's cultivation base and he will soar like a phoenix!

Chicken looked at Lin Feng shocked expression and thought he was jealous of his great talent and inwardly laughed.

Hehe, your entire life talent is like a grain of rice in comparison to me, he thought, completely oblivious to the fact that he himself was just a normal chicken.

"Given your pitiful current cultivation, it will be difficult to properly take care of the Fowl." Shan reached into his interspatial pouch, and tossed towards Lin Feng a small stone bottle.

"Within that bottle are 6 Stone Essence Pills. They should be enough to help you reach the peak of the Bone Refinement stage." Shan said loftily, displaying the look of a rich, peerless expert.

"This fowl is very young, and as such, it will require a large about of nutrients for it to grow properly and reach its full potential." He glanced at the still warm soup within the cauldron.

"This medicinal liquid is very potent, however, it has yet to be condensed into pill form meaning the medicinal properties of the liquid will not be that harsh upon the Fowl's constitution. The potency of the liquid will greatly decrease after a week from now. As such, you must make sure the fowl consumes all of the liquid within one week."

Lin Feng nodded excitedly. With the stone essence pills he no longer needed to envy the chicken's talent.

"Good! As it requires a considerable amount of outdoor space to raise such a bird, which isn't given to outer sect disciples, I will temporarily promote you to an in-name disciple of the Beast Tamer Division. If you show any talent in raising..."

Elder Shan gave a profound look and left soon after and a wide smile plastered on his face. He was simply too brilliant. The simple lad took everything he said like flies to honey. How awesome and peerless must he have seemed in the eyes of that fellow. And the look the kid had when he was given some low quality stone essence pills! Priceless. Alchemist Mo gives those pills out like peppermints during holidays and yet the kid seemed like he had seen gold.

Lin Feng wasn't there to just play around. He had a task to do. To feed the entire liquid soup to the chicken within a week. After all the medical efficiency of the soup will dissipate quite fast.

He has to complete his mission with success in order to get into the beast sect. To get recognition of elder Shan!

Looking at the chicken, he placed the soup right in front of it.

Chicken looked at the soup with a face of contempt.

Did this little punk think he could push him in the soup like the old man? Foolish mortal. Chicken is no pushover. I'll show you.

He backed off the soup immediately.

Lin tried to give an encouraging push with his hand when suddenly chicken bit towards his hand at full force. But how could that have any effect? Lin had tempered his flesh to the stage where he could smash rocks with his bare hands. Much less a baby chicken.

Looking at the adorable chicken. Lin couldn't help but shake his head. There was no way he could talk to a baby chicken. How can he feed it?

Looking around the room he saw a small clear funnel. Isn't that just what he needed?

Quicky restraining the chicken he put the funnel on its beak and started pouring the soup.

Ahhh, isn't this easy. He suddenly felt enlightened. Why was it that he always tried to make things more difficult than it should? First looking for an egg. Then trying to convince the chicken to drink the soup. In life there is always an easy way of doing things you just have to use your head a little.

At this rate he will be done in a single day! Suddenly he felt something was off, the water stopped leaking down. The bird was struggling much harder. He stopped pouring.

Looking at the chicken coughing like crazy while flopping on the ground.

Lin was almost certain that something was wrong.

The only question is what?
