Researcher Turns into Waiter

Gev Chiyun finally located the coffee shop called Boredom. This is his first clue and he needed to find the rude girl quickly. Micah said in that card that she offended a lot of people. That's it. All I need to do is to restrain her from offending people!

I looked outside the shop and it has a large bold letter in front, 'BOREDOM', it says. I don't know whether to laugh or frown at the shop because of its name. Now, I'm curious why Micah renamed it like that.

I wanted to go inside as quickly as possible because I still need to get close to that rude girl when I saw something at the glass window. It says,

'Immediate Hiring! Must be a man with a good build and know how to brew a simple cappuccino.'

My eyes, too, immediately lit up. This is freaking great, I wanted to shout but I realize that there's a lot of people inside. I composed myself and went inside.

It's not as busy inside like I expected. The atmosphere was very good together with its mocha wallpaper inside. There's even a little library in it that amused me. This is certainly heaven, I thought.

I wanted to laugh when I saw a little quote at the right side of the coffee shop.

'This place is haven to all the people who are bored and has nowhere to spend their time.'

This is technically called amazing. You really can't be bored inside because there are books and coffee. It's a perfect combination.

"Hello, how can I help you?" Someone spoke to me. I turned and I saw a beautiful lady… a lady that looked like Jem! I immediately concluded that this person is Jem's great-grand aunt.

Thanks to my poker face, she didn't see my surprised reaction. I smiled like I didn't know her. "Hello, my name is Gev Chiyun. I saw the flyer outside and I like to apply for it."

Her eyes smiled and she grabbed my hands to shake them. "Hello Gev, my name is Micah Bridget and I'm the owner of this coffee shop. We don't have man power here so we've been hiring for a week now. Thank you for applying here. I still need you to fill up some forms and other stuff, but don't worry, it would only take a minute. And by the way, are you free now? If you are then you can start your work right now because we've still have a lot of equipment that we need to lift inside the

storage room. So… are you free?"

After her ranting I'm surprised that she's not even panting.

"I'm free." I said. There's no way I can't accept that. After her ranting it's not easy to refuse her.

"That's great!" She almost jumps in happiness when I agreed. I smile sadly because she's this lovely lady but in the future, she will have regret in her heart. This innocent smile… I should protect this as well as that rude girl.

"Micah, I want some…"

That voice. I grinned and turned to where the voice is coming from.

"Good Morning Ma'am, welcome to Boredom." I said while smirking at her. I lost you yesterday but you can never run away again.

"You…!!"
