Virtual Hammer (2)

"He said that I don't want my father's company to lose his only investor, I have to do as he said." Desta looked down, his bangs shadowed his eyes. No one could tell how he feels or what he thought right now.

"In my opinion, this person wants you to recognize him as Sweinzrev. Not by his real identity." Aurina's words caught all of their attention.

"What did you mean by that? Did you try to say that it's not Sweinzrev?" Desta looked up with eyes full of hope.

"Well, he might be Sweinzrev or just an impostor. Both are possible." Aurina smile at him.

"What the base of this thought of yours, Aurina?" Alfizar asked.

"It's simple really, from his words, he was trying to tell Desta that he is Sweinzrev. If he is the real Sweinzrev and trying to reveal it, why bother to cover his face and change his voice?" Aurina moves her hands around trying to get her point across.

"Make sense," Zio said.

"But, let's say that he was not Sweinzrev, then how could a student like him know that the Sweinzrev are our only investor? Not everyone knows that information!" Desta said with doubt. He just crushed his own hope.

"Actually, it's easy to find out if you are in the business circle and ask around a bit, asked those who are involved in the deal. Probably some money to make everything smoother." Henry shrugged.

"I didn't say that he is the real one or not. The possibility is 50-50." Aurina shook her head to clear her statement. "It's also possible that Sweinzrev didn't really think about appearance or voice as he only cares about threatening you. Anything is possible."

Alfizar and Henry nodded in agreement.

"Then, about earlier today..." Alfizar mentioned earlier's event in the storage room, Desta's whole body stiffen up.

"Oh? You are well aware that I'm still not happy with-"

"Brother..." Aurina stoped Alfizar from continuing his words before he could scar Desta with constant up and down in emotion and probably blood pressure. Indeed, Desta can't take any more of the constant hot and cold atmosphere in this living room.

"Why are you locked in that storage room along with Aurina?" Henry decides to continue the conversation.

"Sweinzrev told me to take Aurina there. After I did, it didn't take long for him to arrive. Not long after, his phone rang in what sounds like an alarm, the leave quickly. I was about to follow him out, but lock the door." Desta skillfully skip the part about him helping Sweinzrev to hit Aurina or him choking her out of anger.

"Sounds like he tried to make you took all the responsibility to me," Henry said his thought out loud, and the rest of them silently agree.

"Yeah, or else, he won't locked me in there. He really wants all of you to find me as the kidnapper." Desta sighed tiredly as he scratches his head, messing his already messy hair.

"Actually, you did kidnap her." Zio pointed out the fact.

"But I'm forced to!"

"Didn't change that fact," Henry said he seems to be enjoying Desta's misery.

Alfizar shook his head unamused by the whole exchange, he decided he already has enough information from Desta. Then he asked for Desta contact number just in case that need to ask for any more information.

"That's it, you may go home now." Alfizar then asked Henry to find someone to take Desta back to his home.

"Please tell me if you find out if it was really Sweinzrev or not! I need to know! I don't want my father to lose his years of hard work!" Desta plead. "And Aurina... I'm terribly sorry about everything." Desta bowed his head low as he apologized.

And soon Henry asked the security in their home complex to bring Desta back to his apartment.

"How come your Virtual Hammer is as good as new, Aurina?" Alfizar asked the question that has been bugging his mind since his eyes land on the device.

"This Virtual Hammer has never been destroyed." Aurina's lips twitch up in a wry smile.

"What did you mean by that? I remember seeing Dioz giving you that broken device." Henry's tone was full of confusion. Alfizar's expression also mirroring Henry's confused expression.

"It was not the same Virtual Hammer. Did you remember when I promising Cathleen a level 7 firewall cracker?" Alfizar nodded.

"I have finished it, and I have told her that, I thought she was impatient and want to take it herself when the Tech club's member come and tell me I got a guest. I took the Virtual Hammer that I made for her and leave my own in my workshop on the table. But it's turned out, it wasn't her who was waiting for me outside the club, but Desta." Aurina explained.

"But thank god I left my own Virtual Hammer in my workshop. After all, that person who threatened Desta seems like his goal of kidnapping me is to destroy Virtual Hammer. He smashed that firewall cracker I made for Cathleen."

"But, it looks just the same..." Alfizar's brow almost knitted together. Indeed, both Virtual Hammer and Firewall Cracker looks exactly the same.

"Ah, the Tech Club is short in fund lately, so I can't get a better material, and only use the leftover material. But it works nicely. A blessing in disguise if I might say. Or else I will lose one of my best work!" Aurina actually pulled the device over her chest to hug it, trying to tell them just how important that device is to her.

"But why would he target your Virtual Hammer?" Henry wondered out loud.

"I think he was afraid that I could find something in the backup database by using this," Aurina answered him with much certainty. Suddenly a question popped out in Alfizar's mind.

"Wait... If that's really the case, then how did he found out about Virtual Hammer?"

"Wait, did you suspecting my friends?"

"-we have been hiding for too long."

"-this is the right time for them to learn how to face the dangerous society we live in."

"But what if the culprit was not working alone?"]

A/N: You know... I've been wondering if someone read this at all. I'm losing motivation with the lack of response. I have some draft. But it won't hold for long if I didn't write anything, because I think there's no one reading.

I already have the plot and know how the story will end in my head. Because I know, this original will be short. I'm already satisfied myself knowing I make a story in my head, because 'that' is my hobby... But writing is where I'm 'telling' you the story.

I'm satisfied knowing my plot has completed for myself. But should I keep telling others the story? Will there really be anyone want to listen?
