Competition
Cami's POV
*Three days later*
I woke up on a rainy morning and I got a text from my adviser saying "Don't forget the competition is in two days! I wish you guys all luck!"
Today was November 24, which means that the competition is also the day of Bryan and Bianca's birthday, isn't that amazing?! But that also makes me nervous. I still remember the dinner with his parents nights ago, all five of the guys and Amanda and I were nervous to meet them because they might not like us! But as it turns out, they actually loved us, and that their mom is actually friends with Amanda's, Jace's and My mom because they were best friends since elementary, isn't that cool?! Also, their dad is really close with the five guys' dads since elementary as well! They all went to the same school, that's how Jace's parents, B, and B's parents and the guys' dads met their moms too. What a small world :)
I stared at my ceiling for about 10 minutes then I got a call from Bianca, it was a video call. I answered and saw that she was at Jace's house with the guys and Amanda.
"Hey C! Are you coming? Did you forget that we'll be planning for Bryan's surprise birthday?" Bianca asked. "Wait, it's already 1 pm?!" I asked not knowing that it was already 1 pm. "Yes!" They all said. "I'm going now!" I stood up and got ready.
P.S after the competition, Bianca's going to move to our section!
*Two days later*
I'm already at school with the guys and Amanda, but no sign of the twins. Earlier, I saw Bianca post on Facebook. "November 26, 2000, 3:20 AM. The time he was born. Happy Birthday to the first best friend I've ever had, to the first nemesis I've ever had, to the person who I had to share my birthday with. You are my twin brother, my carbon copy, and the only true friend God has given to me. To my friend and the only one that bears resemblance with me(a little bit), today is our birthday! May we easily succeed in everything we do as a ripe fruit that escapes from its mother tree. I love you more than you are thinking perhaps because I can't just stand the risk of missing for too long and you are really annoying, but hey! We're the same! You are my twin brother yet the best of all my friends, I am so addicted to you(Well, not really but eh) because you are the closest person to me, I cannot deny the fact that you are my best friend because we have been together for so many years since we were in mom's womb. I love you, Bryan Jordan! Happy 17th birthday!" That was so sweet of Bianca! She actually posted that at the same time he was born awww. The post actually got a lot of likes and hearts and comments.
I was going up the bleachers but then someone grabbed my arm. "Hey, Cami! Sorry, we're late, my whole family was here earlier." Bianca said. "Hey, B. Happy Birthday! No, it's fine! I think we should go to the bleachers no-" I was cut off by the emcee "All contestants for the singing and dancing competition should sit at the stage, please. I repeat all the contestants for the singing and dancing competition should sit on the stage, please. Thank you"
I sat down next to Bryan and I waved at him and said "Happy Birthday, Bry!" "Thank you, Cams!" He said and hugged me. I was surprised but I still hugged back.
A few minutes later it was finally our turn after Bianca's group danced. I saw Jace holding a banner saying "Go, Bianca!". He is such a dork haha!
Bryan and I stood up and I started singing.

I could feel my heart pounding so fast because every high school student was cheering so loud

And everyone clapped.
"That was the best thing that happened today!" Bryan said and hugged me. "Yeah!" I hugged him back and I was tired.
A few minutes later the judges were finally going to tell who won. For the dancing competition, it was Bianca's group and we clapped and cheered for them. After Bianca went down, Jace ran to her and hugged her. Bryan went to them and cleared his throat. Jace stopped hugging Bianca and looked at him. Bryan hugged Bianca and told Jace to join in! He's such a supportive brother, he's so sweet!
I didn't realize that they were already announcing the winners for the singing competition because I was looking at the twins.
"And the winners for the singing competition is...
....
....
Camila Anderson and Bryan Miller!"
Everyone cheered and I didn't really hear who won. I went back to reality when Bryan shook me and grabbed my hand to go up the stage. We got the award and took some pictures.
"That's our girl!" The guys said and I noticed Amanda and Troy quietly talking.
I noticed someone at the entrance to our gymnasium and I wanted to faint. "Camila are you okay? You look very pale right now" Bryan asked me. "You're also cold! Cami, are you okay?" Bianca held my hand and she felt it was cold. My father was there. Why was he here?! All my happiness washed out. I didn't answer them because the person who left me and my mom for 9 years is here right now! He is a monster! I HATE YOU, DAD! I gave Bryan the trophy. He was shocked and he followed me.
