"-now fare..." Nemesis paused as he let out a sort of primal growl. Lisa quaked in fear as she saw Nemesis' eyes turn amber in colour and his pupils dilated into long slits which streaked his down his eyes. They looked similar to a crocodile's eyes. Unknowingly, Lisa swallowed the saliva which had been building up in her mouth with an audible gulp.
"Wait..." Nemesis' hoarse voice spoke out, completely different from the soft, feminine one which he had used only moments earlier. He no longer looked at her but towards the right, staring into the trees which lined the path. Glancing around, still quivering, only then did she notice that they were the only two demons along the ongoing nature path, which seems to have no end at either end. She didn't know that she had gone so far away from her mother until now.
"Tell me, Lisa, where are your parents?" Nemesis asked, his voice still hoarse though unlike his previous word, it was said with an attempt to sound gentler.
Scared, she could only stutter quietly in a whimper, "A-a-ah-ah..." She couldn't answer him, those unnatural eyes which pierced into her soul, he reminded her so much of a [Vampire]. His predatory gaze made her feel like a helpless prey within his grasp.
Realising that she wasn't going to respond to him properly due to being too afraid, Nemesis simply clicked his tongue then drew a cold breath through gritted teeth and exhaled an annoyed sigh.
Clenching his right hand into a tight fist and biting his lower lip in frustration, he de-activated his [Primordial Insticts] and his altered features morphed back to their original form quickly.
"Fine." He told her before shouting aloud into the treeline, "Stop hiding and reveal thyself before this noble lord, you cretin!" His voice now reverted back to how it originally was.
No response was given, leaving only Lisa to stare dumbly at the seemingly crazy youth before her.
Not wanting to waste time, Nemesis bellowed out another provocation in a native tongue, "Carawlzhar fynper quwess irec Vamonir gurish!"
Upon hearing the strange words spoken in a foreign accent, Lisa couldn't help but take a few steps back in fear for what would happen. Expecting for Nemesis to turn out to be a [Vampire] and as her parents said, make her unable to ever see them again, started to weep.
Ignoring the sobbing of Lisa, Nemesis was more entailed to deal with the figure emerging from behind the trees. The figure, or should I more accurately say figures were multiples bats numbering in the hundreds. Hundreds of bats combined with each other to form a tall man, easily double Nemesis' size in height with a lean figure, pale skin, crimson red eyes with two small slits for pupils, jet-black hair wearing formal attire, white undershirt visible through his exposed neck region and black pants which unlike nemesis had two white stripes encircling the leg regions at the thigh and slightly above the ankle on both legs of the pants.
He heaved heavy growls at Nemesis, his two soul-piercing crimson eyes in a staring match with Nemesis' dual coloured ones.
"Take your vile insult back, heretic! You slander the very God you serve, kin! Heresy is not forgiven. Fawrgrah jusryo poltrama kwarlmjor xynopeh Vampiro! Tyrno tyrngah Tyrngor!" The [Vampire] shouted in an imposing voice at Nemesis, clearly enraged as he loomed over Nemesis, staring down at the child.
Lisa sniffled her nose and rubbed her eyes, wiping the tears away from her eyes as she saw a menacing [Vampire] looming over Nemesis speaking the same non-sensical jibberish that Nemesis spoke. The only thing which made her think that the two were not familiar with each other and working together was the fact that it seemed like the two would brawl right then and there.
Rolling his eyes Nemesis scoffed the [Vampire]'s assertions, "You call me kin? I am no [Vampire] and I serve no God, especially that pseudo-God Tyrngor. Scream "all praise Tyrndor!" all you want, no one cares! Vampires, as I said, are scum. The worse type of scum alive, religious zealots. There are so many of you, madmen, out there it amazed me how you haven't all committed a giant ritual suicide together and saved me from dirtying my hands with your blood!" He immediately retorted back.
Completely irritated the [Vampire] grabbed Nemesis up by his neck, raising him as far as his lanky arm could into the sky, all in the meanwhile eyeing him with palpable contempt for the youth.
"Kid, you do not understand what you've done. Heretic." The [Vampire] labelled him before screeching aloud, "Tyrno tyrngah Tyrngor!" The surrounding area grew dark. The [Vampire] gave Nemesis a grim smile right before a black spike shot out from his abdomen region impaling Nemesis' heart. Seconds later several more black spikes shot out through the darkened area impaling Nemesis' arms and legs.
The [Vampire] expected shrieks, screams or begging but unexpectedly, Nemesis simply glanced down at the spikes which paled him as if they caused no damage at all. Nemesis clicked his tongue and licked his lips before he spoke.
"Was using your [Vampire's Territory] skill really necessary? Such is the same with you zealots, to blinded by the false Gods you serve that you cannot see that an ill omen was already sent to you through a God... a God of death." Nemesis spoke lightly, his voice quiet yet sinister. A victorious smile grew on his face.
"I could smell the mark you placed on her, you know. Next time you mark your prey, you better pray to that fool Tyrngor to hope that I don't make it in time to stop this again." Nemesis warned.
Confused at to what Nemesis spoke of but mostly frightened at how lightly he was taking the unique [Vampire]'s [Blood Spike] which was empowered then duplicated by the [Vampire's Territory] skill '[Eternal Twilight]', the [Vampire]'s hand shook uncontrollably. Grasping the shaking hand's arm with the other he chuckled to himself in an attempt to calm himself down.
"You speak well kid, however, a heretic like you is destined for only one place, [Twnegra Iryashka]! Unthinkable suffering awaits you there." The [Vampire] spoke, spewing out his beliefs of eternal damnation in [Twnegra Iryashka] after death. He was once again regaining his confidence.
"Shame, I guess once a zealot, always a zealot. Even when enlightened or at least, given a chance to be, they shall always forsake the truth and believe the false lies. Guess that's religious brainwashing for you. Now then, Mister Vampire, you're out of luck. I have a gift for you."
Nemesis spoke clearly to the [Vampire], only now did he realise that Nemesis even though being impaled through the heart, arms and legs also with the fact of being choked never groaned in pain and had no struggle breathing. Almost as if he didn't require his organs to communicate, let alone live.
