The first chapter seems slightly jumpy, but that gets better in the chypters 2 and 3. The author plays with language, he uses colorful descriptions rather than just listing cold facts one after another. This makes reading this novel really enjoyable.
This is a pretty dark version of the ''system'' idea, as indicated by the pg-rating the author gave it himself. If death, blood, rotting corpses, cannibalism and the harsh reality of life aren't to you liking, you should probably refrain from this, otherwise I recommend a read.
