Getting ambushed literally at home had me consider getting armed for a while, but I since changed opinions.

Guns are pretty rare in Korea. Even they got easier to have over the past few years, they're still hard to find.

Pen-shaped guns got more popular with modern criminals, but it is still more spread in bordering countries.

Owning a gun is still more troublesome than not. If you don't agree, consider this: even my attacker the other day didn't have a gun.
