Xiao Yun stood at the north gate. He only had to take a step forward before leaving this beginner's village.
However, before he steps out, he has to be prepared.
"Open Status," he mumbled.

A transparent window appeared in front of him again. It looked similar to the Quest screen with only the contents being different.

"What the fuck? That's it? Where are the stats?"
He was already aware of the fact that there was no mana points or health points in this game, but for there to be no stats…
"Can this even be called a game?" he asked himself.
"Open Equipment."
This time, a window with his entire figure was displayed inside the window like an avatar. It was as if he was looking into a mirror.
'I have the exact same look here as my real body,' he began pondering again.
Touching a part of his body on the window, a tiny screen showed up.

Nothing showed up.
"Open Bag."

"Open Storage."

'What the hell? There is no inventory either? How am I supposed to carry my loot around? This game is really inconvenient.'
Sighing, he closed all of the windows.
'Whatever, I'll just ask that Butcher Kain dude when I finish this quest,' he told himself before walking out of the northern gate and into an endless field of grass.
There was nothing but green grass in front of him, so he decided to keep walking north.
As Xiao Yun walked, he continuously analyzed the scenery before him. The blue sky was filled with fluffy looking clouds sailing it. The sunlight shone on him, making his body feel warm and comfortable.
Maybe it was because all of the monsters around the village have already been taken care of by the players, making it awfully quiet. He has walked for more than a mile, yet there was not a single monster in sight, let alone a rabbit. There were also players around him, all walking towards the same direction.
"Hm?"
Only after he had walked another mile did he finally encounter a monster… and it was slain the next second.
"Fuck, this reminds me of starting a game that had just come out. The beginner's area is always crowded, making killing mobs a pain in the ass," he sighed.
He and the crowd walked another mile before a window popped up in front of him.

'Fame… what is it used for?' he wondered.
Touching the word 'Fame' on the window, another screen popped up right next to the word 'Fame'.
[Fame has many benefits. One such as the higher Fame one player has, the more reward they would receive from quests given by NPCs. Another is having special discounts when buying items from NPCs. You can also receive special quests given only to those who have the required Fame. Fame can be obtained through many means, but that is something the players will have to find out for themselves!]
'Hoooh, I see.'
Xiao Yun nodded to himself.
He walked for another minute before shadows of small figures jumping left and right could be seen.
They were rabbits, tons of rabbits.
Even with the hundreds of people fighting them, the numbers of rabbits did not seem to lessen after many minutes.
Xiao Yun's eyes flickered with a bright light.
With this many rabbits here, he would not have to worry about kill stealing other people's prey!
After locking his eye sights on a group of rabbits that had no opponents, he slowly walked towards them.
He was not nervous about someone stealing his prey, he did not care if there were more than ten of them grouped up together. All he had inside his mind was to kill them all in an instant!
Each of his steps was as gentle as a feather, leaving no trace of footprints behind.
The aura around him suddenly disappeared, completely wiping his presence from this world.
His bright eyes darkened, replacing them with a pair of black holes.
If somebody saw him right now, they would definitely mistake him as a ghost.
A cold smile appeared on his face… and he kicked the floor, launching his body forward like a bullet.
Splash.
Blood flew everywhere the next instant, some even touching the faces of nearby players.
"Wh..What the fuck?!?!?!"
A player wiped his face because he felt something warm and liquidy touch him, and to his surprise, it was fresh blood!
When he turned to look around, his eyes snapped wide open, not daring to believe his eyes.
Many players there also stopped their hunting to look at the commotion.
Their gazes landed on a young man whose hands were dyed red with rabbit blood, and surrounding him was a pile of rabbit corpses.
A few players covered their mouth at the bloody scene. Every rabbit corpse had their head removed cleanly, it was almost as if they were executed with a sharp weapon. Yet when they looked at the young man's hands, there was no weapons, only blood dripping.
The young man continued to stand in the middle of the pile of corpses, ignoring the shocked gazes he was receiving.
He was currently getting spammed by the system.
