[The Field Boss of Howling Forest, Lightning Wolf, has finally been slain, losing its First Kill Bonus!]
[All players that had participated in the battle will have their names engraved on the Hall of Achievers, congratulation, Heros!]
The World News had stopped every player in their tracks.
While it was only a Field Boss, it was still an amazing feat. And the Field Boss of Howling Forest has finally been found and slain after 2 months of searching, making this feat even more bright.
Players began looking up the Halls of Achievers - First Boss Kills to see which Hero was involved in this battle.
However, the moment they saw only one name written there, they were shocked.
[Here lies the names of those who had participated in the fierce battle against the Lightning Wolf, Field Boss of Howling Forest - (Soarra)]
The shocking thing was not that it had been solo'd, but the name of who soloed it.
The chat in SLO Rankings began blowing up again.
[LOLKING: LOLOLOLOL! HOLY SHIT! IT'S 'SOARRA' AGAIN!]
[165711: The same person who had claimed the spot for being the first one to achieve the Skill rank (Warlord) just this morning?]
[BigBoss: Yes, the same dude.]
[MadMan134: He soloed the Field Boss that nobody could find for two months straight? Truly a madman!]
[Leeching: Seriously, does anybody here have any info on this player?! I am willing to pay big bucks!]
[Noob123: Soarra-sama pls boost me, I am a cute girl IRL!]
The chat had already calmed down after this player's initial shocking announcement, yet this player managed it do it again in just a few more hours.
Inside Second Life Online, the players that had witnessed Xiao Yun slaying the Lightning Wolf has yet to find out about the name of this player.
They were all looking at the big words in the still blazing sky, all filled with shock.
This dude really soloed the Field Boss.
While it was common for Rankers to come to lower levels to slay Field Bosses, they would usually be in a group of two to three, sometimes even more depending on the difficulty.
And because most low-level Field Bosses has their First Kill Bonus taken already, most of the Rankers were in the higher level areas searching for stronger Bosses.
Pretty much every single low leveled Field Boss from the starting areas has already been found and slain, except for this Lightning Wolf.
Two months, the amount of time the players had searched. Many Rankers and their Sponsors had even paid big bucks just to make sure they get the news of it first if it was ever found.
But no matter how long and hard they searched, nobody was able to find the Field Boss of Howling Wolf.
It was as if it knew it was being hunted and hid itself.
And the Howling Forest being freaking huge did not help the players at all.
Now fast forward two months later, it was finally found and slain.
And the one who had slain it was a name many people were familiar with yet has never seen before until today. Hell, this player's face was still unknown, with everybody still trying to find him as of this moment.
Nobody knew how this player found the Field Boss of Howling Forest, but one thing was for sure. This new name would only get popular as time passes. Two announcements about him were made in just one day. With so many places unexplored and unknown monsters in this world, this player has plenty of time and space to be mentioned again.
It was just a matter of when and what would it be about.
While everybody was still looking at Xiao Yun's new achievement, another window had popped up in front of him.
[Would you like to let the world know of your latest achievement, becoming the first one amongst millions to have a Skill rank of (Champion), letting your name spread far and wide?]
[Yes] [No]
Xiao Yun smiled at the screen. It was only a game, so of course, he will do the opposite of what he would do in real life and let his name be known by everybody!
Before he had joined the military and was still a nerd, he had always wanted to be in-game famous, but alas, he was only a mediocre player and could not be compared to those hardcore players who were always in the spotlight.
Now that he has the chance to fulfill his childhood dreams, he will make sure to spread his name whenever he would get the chance to.
[Yes]
Xiao Yun pressed the screen.
While everybody was still surprised at the previous World News, the sky had begun flashing red once again.
*World Announcement* *World Announcement* *World Announcement*
[Player 'Soarra' has just achieved the rank (Champion) in a Skill, becoming the first player in Second Life Online to ever achieve this majestic rank! Congratulations!]
"What?"
The players could only stare at this newly broadcasted announcement with a blank face. They were shocked to the point of forgetting how to express emotions and could only stare at the sky with a blank face.
