Philade was a big city- wait I don't think you understand, it was a BIG city, like, uhhh... Ah, I got it. You know how in the Days of Depression there was a New York City, massive, center of the world sort of stuff. Yeah that would be like one district of Philade, and Philade had dozens of district, that's how big it was. And this wasn't even the center of the world. That was in Australia.-
Due to the sheer size of Philade, both Caesar and Brian were stunned. As the wolf world was a virtual one, it was quite small, namely just the castle and a city around it. That was why Caesar, who had only read about such massive cities, was also shocked beyond compare. The two companions, they weren't on the level of friends just yet, just stood there for a long time, mouths wide open.
"Haha, look at those country bumpkins." One of the guards laughed.
"Hmph, like you can talk. When you first came, I remember you pissed your pants from the sheer size of the city." replied another.
"Hey, stop mentioning that dark history. That was all the past, the past. Oh look, the weather is quite nice today, how 'bout we go to the pool after our shift." The first guard quickly changed the topic.
Hearing this exchange, every guard laughed.
This was because they had all been like this when they had first come. Only those wealthy enough could actually live in the super high-rises, and these guards were not that rich. They were just here to make a living. Most people who inhabited those apartments were all accomplished in one way or another, and at least own a chain of businesses spanning the country. Many big-shots, such as Nigel Gates, great-great-grandson of Bill Gates, and current owner of Microsoft, which was still running strong, were also located in Philade.
Despite it being a massive city, the guards all found it very weird that these two would stand there for such a long time. Feeling it getting quite awkward, one of them finally spoke out.
"Hey you two, you coming in or what?" the guard who had previously spoken asked Brian and Caesar.
"Ah, yes, yes, come on, pretty boy, hurry and close your mouth. We wouldn't want flies going in there, now would we?"

What awaited the duo inside Philade was even more shocking. If they had thought the exterior was like an elephant, then the interior was like ten of those, all stacked on each other. Through some cool illusion-creation that was newly developed by the NWC, the exterior had actually been shrunk a little, concealing the real size.
This was used in case of any intruders, making them underestimate the strength of the city. It may seem peaceful in the world, but could a world with humans really be peaceful. Currently, there were no pillars of hope, no heroes that stood for all humanity, who could control the worlds, so everybody who was anybody was trying to wrest control of the cities with a lot of world energy to carve out.
This was politics evolved. Currently, every single power was trying to nurture the next generation to become kings of kings, to rule the world with an iron fist, so that they could then take over not just one world, but multiple. Through this, one could really see how much world energy was appreciated by humans.

Exploring the city took forever. With the minimal amount of money that Caesar had brought out of the palace, they ended up living within a hotel for the night. The next day they continued exploring. Brian saw a ton of stuff that he thought impossible, such as a briefcase that could somehow fit an elephant, which was advertised on a store front.
Brian thought that this was a great way to bond with Caesar, so he brought the pretty boy all around the city, experiencing everything that this city had to offer. Brian had thought this would all work out very well, but he forgot about one thing, he didn't have any money.
Therefore, everything was paid by Caesar, which made the pretty boy quite irritated. Through this, Brian realized that Caesar was quite stingy, but also that money is what kept the world moving. He figured out that if he truly wanted to accomplish his dream, he needed enough money to do so.

Due to Caesar's constant nagging, the pair were now in front of the skill palace in Philade, one of the biggest in the world. Without even going in, Brian knew that the NWC was probably going to take over the world. their whole front door was made out of fricking gemstones. This one front door was more precious than probably the rest of the city. Brian realized that who controlled the NWC would probably end up controlling the world, unless he could do something about it.
When entering, he got the same feeling. Decorations everywhere were all pristine. There were antique artworks from the Days of Depression, including the Mona Lisa, as well as sculptures lining the halls. One got the feeling of extreme insecurity and fragility when placed inside the skill palace.

Upon going in, Brian was brought to a special room. He had thought that this was normal treatment, but Caesar knew something was off. And just as the wolf had predicted, it wasn't a normal worker who was sitting on the opposite side of the pair. It was an old man who exuded an aura capable of suppressing that of Caesar, who was royalty.
