The first life that the Brian and Caesar delved into was the life of Daisuke Mei.
His life was extremely similar to Caesar's, apart from the fact that he actually had a ton of diplomatic affairs to handle. Through the actions and words spoken by Daisuke, the pair found out that he was quite a peculiar noble.
His family, the Mei family, was a leading power in transportation and Daisuke as the second child, had a lot of responsibility. His father and big brother were constantly thinking up of ways to extort more money and create bigger profits so Daisuke would usually intervene and show a more civilized solution.
Daisuke helped everyone within the manor he lived in, from the lowly servants, the chefs, and even the laundry ladies. He was loved by the whole household, and they felt that he should be the heir to the company. Despite this friendship that Daisuke held with his servants, his dad had different views.
His dad felt that Daisuke was too soft, unable to understand the problems of the real world. His dad had a more favorable impression of Daisuke's elder brother. Daisuke's elder brother, Shizuno, constantly reprimanded the staff. Not only that, he was ruthless in all his business deals.
For example, if an old friend was in dire need of food, he would instead up the price and sell it. Through just this one example, the pair could see the difference displayed by the Mei family. These two also had different views regarding the situation. Caesar felt more inclined towards Daisuke, as he was loving to all the staff within his household, but Brian leaned towards Shizuno.
He felt Shizuno, like him, understood society. Shizuno knew what was important and what was not. He discarded the right and wrong, and focused more upon the law of the jungle. The strong survived and the weak became food.
Brian felt as if this man was someone whom he could rely upon. Someone that he could use to make his dreams come true. To maintain the economy of a whole planet was very hard. There were many things necessary and only an impartial judge could sustain this economy.
That is why Brian felt that Shizuno would become an important pillar in his life.
What happened later in Daisuke's life made this decision harder to realize. One day, Shizuno and his dad were dicussing some business affairs. When Daisuke listened in he was given a big shock. These two were discussing about making business with the black-market.
Daisuke was extremely mad and ran away from home that very instant. To make money, Daisuke became a financial consultant who roamed the world. After 2 short years of doing so, when he was 16, he went to the skill palace. Their he discovered that his skill was a body enhancement.
He learnt that he could increase the speed at which his whole body moved. This speed was fixed and body weight would not affect it as Daisuke's body enhancement was basically smoother joints. Therefore he started body-building, creating the giant that he now was.
Through his constant running and other miscellaneous exercises, he slowly grew to the stage he was now in his understanding. When roaming around the country like before, he happened across a conversation of one of his employers. They talked about the Academy and how strict it was.
Daisuke, realizing he did not have much of an education regarding skills, inquired more from his employer.
His employer then told him all he needed to know as well as the strongest contender, William Black, who was at the Good Late stages, actually a whole rank behind him. This shocked Daiuke to his core. 'I was so strong?'
This question kept revolving around his head and two days later, he quit from his job. Why? Well, that's a dumb question, now wasn't it. Of course it was to go to the Academy. What happened next immensely helped Brian's case.
Daisuke had met up with his brother Shizuno in secret, and asked Shizuno to arrange him a hyper-speed train to England. Through this, it could be seen that Shizuno actually did have compassion. But it was only for those that were his family.
This made Brian extremely happy, as one without the slightest compassion was not a person, but a robot. That was why he ascertained again that his minister of finance spot was booked out by Daisuke's brother, Shizuno.
Of course, all this was unknown to Caesar, who was constantly cheering on Daisuke, being quite annoying, to tell the truth. He was only there to be happy, as he was for the previous half of his whole life. Of course, this was just to mask his surprise in many issues.
This life could be said to open new doors for everyone, including the ex-royalty, Caesar. It displayed the power balance in a major family, and the ifferent personalities within it. All that Daisuke learnt about politics and finance, were dumped into their minds, helping them understand many new things.
This life could be said to be a library, a treasure trove, for Brian and Caesar.
