A split

Brian and co. were led to a simple room. Three bunk beds - one on each side and another in the middle. Beside the bunks were storage chests used for the items that the students had brought. After being brought to their rooms, the students started their ritual choosing of beds.

Like any high-school camping trip everyone paused and contemplated which bed was the best and then simultaneously dashed towards the one they wanted.

Caesar had chosen the bunk with Daisuke on one side of the room and Akbar was with William on the other. They kept on shooting death stares at the opposite side of the room.

Two factions had been created.

Brian started to feel a headache coming along. What would he do? He wanted both to be on his side, but clearly they wouldn't accept each other's presence. Brian then went to the middle bunk and tried to block out the stares of either side

Honestly, he just couldn't care less at this point so fell asleep.

Seeing Brian fall asleep, the others than had their exhaustion catch up with them and they too fell asleep.

---

The next day Brian woke up nice and early, like he always did, and started doing his daily exercise. What surprised him was the outside, William was similarly training his body.

William felt Brian's presence, stopped his exercise, and greeted him.

"Hey"

"Hi"

"..."

"..."

Both sensing the awkwardness in the air, they returned to their respective exercises. After finishing his body-building he was about to ask Caesar for a spar, and then realized Caesar wasn't awake yet. So he turned to the next best thing.

"Ummm... So... Yeah... William, could you have a spar with me?"

"No! I can't spar. I can only kill!"

William's abrupt statement shocked Brian. But then he thought about it and felt that what William said was right.

Since young, William had been practicing in the art of killing and every blow he delivered was to a vital that could instantly decapitate a person and end their life. This, though, actually made Brian happy. He needed to train up his vital organs if he wanted to achieve a Godly understading of the Ironman skill, so he spoke up once again.

"Perfect come at me!"

"Are you serious? I could kill you!"

"I know, so come!"

"Haha, you asked for it!"

And with that, William launched himself at Brian, hands and feet slicing through the air, making a whistling sound. All of the attacks made by William were towards Brian. If Brian had not trained in the Ironman skill, he would have been grinded into a pulp by the flurry of hands and feet.

William had thought that after around ten shots, Brian would give, and so he personally held back a little, since he didn't want to break his promise to the girl whom he loved, despite still not knowing her name.

Contrary to his expectations, Brian held strong after his ten attacks, and even seemed to get more confident, sometimes even diving into his attacks. A shiver ran down William spine for two reasons.

One, this man, if he kept on training, would become the real Ironman.

And two, why the f*** did he run into a masochist! :)

-Actually, the second one I made up. But it gives some humor, right? No? Ok then, sorry!-

After seeing Brian become more confident, William also increased his strength and speed to max.

---

A "pa", "pa", "pa" accompanied by aggressive "ah"s and "oh"s woke the other three up.

"Who is being so intense this early in the morning?"

"Keep it down, it's not like she's gonna die if you stop!"

"Yeah, in fact, you might just kill her with this intensity!"

These men, just going through puberty, misunderstood the situation. Seeing as the sound didn't stop, the three got up and started walking. Of course, Daisuke and Caesar kept a distance away from Akbar, who didn't really seem to care. He did notice that William and Brian weren't in the room.

Following the sound, the three made it to the courtyard outside their room, and there, they were surprised.

They saw a speed demon unleashing blows upon an motionless steel statue, with each shot meant to kill.

Looking closer, they got a shock.

They realized that it was their two roommates being the speed demon and the statue, William and Brian respectively.

They all felt something in their hearts at this moment.

Daisuke was admiring the tenacity that both men had while sparring, though it was more like beating up and getting beaten up.

Akbar also admired them, but more for their willpower to wake up this early and engage in intense exercise, all for the betterment of their lives.

Caesar felt anger.

He was angry for the fact that Brian was socializing with William instead of him, if you could call being beaten up socializing.

Suddenly, a deep voice came from the doorway.

"Look at these youngsters, doing the deed so early."

It was principal Jones. He had obviously also misinterpreted the situation.

Seeing the truth of what was really happening, he was first shocked and then happy.

"Good, good! Ok, I won't bother your training. Hey! You three! What are you doing just standing there? Be good kids and start training like those two! Now, chop chop! time doesn't wait for you! Oh, and remember that classes start in 6 days, so don't die before then!"

And with that he was off and the 5 youths were left to their own devices.
