"Oh you're too kind! I'm just helping you out of goodwill there's no need for a gift!"

"No, I insist!" Devon's reply was more of a threat than choice, causing Lyn to be obliged to come over to him.

"Oh then.. thank you! But..where's the gift?" Lyn asked while searching for whatever looks like a gift

"Come closer, and I'll tell you~" the way Devon said sounds so hot, Lyn couldn't help but blush.

As Lyn walked over, Devon tried accumulating more gas and

The load of gas Devon was holding on for so long was finally released in front of Lyn's nose, causing her to pinch her nose is disgust

"YIKES! What's the meaning of this?!" her once full of anticipation face now turned yellow with disgust.

Pleased with her reactions, Devon replied "You should've just minded your own business. Don't jump to conclusions when you don't know the full situation"

Before Lyn could respond to his reply, Devon cut her off

"Now let's continue our project." He said in a cold, nonchalant tone as if nothing happened

This jerk! How can he pretend nothing happened when its so smelly? You wanna act? Fine! I'll accompany you till the end! Hmph!

Although Lyn tried to conceal her anger, she could not help but let out a few 'hmph's while stroking Ken to relieve her anger

Seeing Lyn angry was quite amusing to Devon so he provoked Lyn and enjoyed her wrath

Lyn of course knew that Devon enjoys her reactions when she's angry so although she was really mad, she did not want to show it

Ha! Now you know how I feel, angry but can't let it out. Devon smirked as he thought

Hmph I'll let you be smug for now. Just you wait you evil demon! I'll be sure to subdue you

"So as I was saying before SOMEONE interrupted, shall we add a love line in the storyline?"

Someone? The interruption is not caused by me but my stomach! Lyn sneered

Ignoring his provocations, Lyn answered "I think I work on it with love line and you without, considering you...I mean I'm into romance novels. Anyway let's work on this and compare which is better"

"..mm" Devon responded after sometime

Lyn actually wanted to hurt Devon by mocking that he have no friends but she feared Devon will be hurt deeply and she did not want to stoop to his level. Moreover, although he was named 'demon', he can be quite nice too. Sometimes, Lyn felt that he was just a kind little devil and demon was an exaggeration.

After planning out the tasks, Lyn left.

[14/03/18, Thursday]

After a few days of thinking, they shared their storyline

Devon's story:

So the protagonist have a curse of living in the same day all over and that day was the day where the protagonist (the gender is not decided) lost his/her parents, get betrayed by his/her best friend. Basically, this was the day he/she lost everything so he/she was very depressed and tried to kill (him/her)self. However, what's supposed to be the next day but was actually the start of the same day, the protagonist found that he/she was still alive and everything that happened, happened again. The protagonist have to find out why his/her best friend betrayed him/her and the reason for his/her parents' disappearance

plot twist:

It's just a dream

"Really Devon? The story was sooo good but you ruined it with your plot twist!" Lyn complained

"... You're the one that wanted a plot twist and since I couldn't think of any but that it's just a dream."

"..." Lyn was flabbergasted.

Anyways, let's look at Lyn's story~

Lyn's story:

It's about an ugly looking protagonist that was bullied by everyone due to his/her looks. He/she was so depressed that he/she wanted to commit suicide. Fortunately, he/she discovered a beauty app that can change his/her looks. After his/her transformation, he/she was treated much better and people were all biased to him/her. He/she even fell in love but he/she was scared that he/she was loved for her appearance and not his/her personality.

plot twist:

the protagonist fell in love with his/her sister/brother, who also used the beauty app

"Eh not bad!" Indeed, a lunatic is way more imaginative, Devon thought.

Since Lyn's plot twist made her overall storyline more interesting, they both chose her storyline and edited it.

There wasn't much editing actually, it's just that they decided that the protagonist's gender should be female since females are more concerned about their appearance in general, and it would be weird for the protagonist to be a male since the protagonist cry easily.

The next day, 15/03/18,Friday...

"Today is the day you will be presenting your storyline! Aren't you all excited?" Mr Zin seems to be in a good mood today when he asked.

class:"..."

"cuz I am!" He shamelessly ignored everyone's nonchalant reaction and pretended everyone was as excited as him.

"Anyway, lemme announce the lineup: Jack and Jill, HumpT and DumpT, Tom and Jerri, Peter and Penn, Jx and Justin, Christopher Ryan and Yennie, and finally, Lyn and Devon"

*A/N: Did you see what I did there aha here's a hint for ya if you don't already know; look at their names, most of it will give u a clue to the story. Ya its lame but I'm too lazy to think of a new storyline for every pair so sorry (not sorry) Hehe okay I will not disturb u any further let's continue with the story!

So Jack and Jill made a story of themselves:

Jack and Jill went up the hill

To fetch a pail of water.

Jack fell down and broke his crown,

And Jill came tumbling after.

Up Jack got, and home did trot,

As fast as he could caper,

He went to bed to mend his head,

With vinegar and brown paper.

HumpT and DumpT's was more of a song than a story but the story in the song was quite short and sad, about a poor egg that died;

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,

Humpty Dumpty had a great fall;

All the king's horses and all the king's men

Couldn't put Humpty together again.

As for Tom and Jerri, since they don't get along at all, their plot is also about 2 characters that are always at odds with each other. Interestingly, they don't speak at all in the story;

It is about comic fights between an iconic set of adversaries, a house cat (Tom) and a mouse (Jerry). The plots of each short usually center on Tom's numerous attempts to capture Jerry and the mayhem and destruction that follows. Tom rarely succeeds in catching Jerry, mainly because of Jerry's cleverness, cunning abilities, and luck.

Peter and Penn's story :

A free-spirited and mischievous young boy who can fly and never grows up, Peter Pan spends his never-ending childhood having adventures on the mythical island of Neverland as the leader of the Lost Boys, interacting with fairies, pirates, mermaids, Native Americans, and occasionally ordinary children from the world outside Neverland.

Jx and Justin's story:

their story was line the hunger games, where the protagonist took her younger sister's place to participate in a survival game where the chance of surviving is very low, but the protagonist still risked it for her love for her sister.

Unfortunately, their story was immediately rejected by Mr Zin as the story contained too much violence.

Christopher Ryan and Yennie's story:

So their theme is comedy, and is about food.

their story: So the protagonist was very hungry and ate the first thing he saw. This caused him to be transported into foodland where everyone had unlimited food and the food can talk!

And lastly, Lyn and Devon!

Upon comparing all storylines, the class can't help but feel that Lyn and Devon's was indeed the best. Not only do they have a good plot, their plot twist was unexpected too!

"Any objections to Lyn and Devon being the winner? If not, they will be in charge of directing the class! Let's give a round of applause to them!"

The whole class clapped wholeheartedly. They were pleasantly surprised at their story plot and the twist in the story. Although some people were upset that they did not win, they couldn't deny that Devon and Lyn's plot was indeed deserving of being the winner.
