The Professional Stage Director: Great Heavenly Dao

Okay, now where was I? Something about wizards right… wait… no, ignore that… there are no wizards.

Aha, I remember now. I was unconsciousness lying face down in the dirt in front of my fiancé's courtyard. Once I noticed there was no one around, ahem, as I awoke and noticed that no one was around I quickly put a pill with regenerative powers into my mouth. Yuck, it tasted so bitter. Why? Did you think there truly existed a medicine in the vast multiverse that didn't taste bad? Sorry to disappoint but that is a multi-universal property of anything that is actually good for your body. Go and smack those fiction authors who dare to say otherwise.

After my pinky regrew I decided to calmly walk into my fiancé's dwelling, yes dwelling, that thing doesn't even deserve to be called a shack! After walking in, I realized that there was nobody around. I immediately understood that my act, I mean, my unfortunate loss of consciousness had resulted in the main female and male lead's of this story having their first meeting. Moments later I was greeted by the arrival of Liu Zhen, General Liu, and several of his wives, concubines, and servants.

"Your highness!" General Liu shouted as he barged into the courtyard his face full of rage as he pulled Liu Meili in by her hair.

Seeing my fiance being treated in such a manner was more than enough to piss me off.

"Unhand her this minute!" I shouted as I barged back into the dirt ditch courtyard threateningly pointing my finger at the general.

"Your highness?" The general swaggered to a stop as if he couldn't believe what I had just said.

"Royal Brother? Are you okay?" my little sister asked confused. She had never seen me get this angry over anything before or raise my hand to point a finger at someone either.

Taking a deep breath as I closed my eyes I was able to calm down. However, when I opened my eyes I saw that my fiance had to be un-handed by the towering old general I gave him another deep glare before he realized what I was looking at and suddenly let Liu Meili go.

At this moment I noticed that Liu Meili's eyes were looking at me in confusion as well. To her, I had always been distant, never once visited her and she totally expected me to have been having a secret affair with L50A or L50B behind her back, and if Lin Ye hadn't died he certainly would have ruined his future by going against this heroine.

At this moment, the sky darkened and black colored lightning flashed. At the same time, the sore voice of a cranky old fellow drifted to my ears as time came to a still.

"Oi you brat, you are Lin Ye! The mini boss in this story. Why the hell are you showing affection for this girl? You are supposed to look down upon her and then slowly became angry out of shame because she will never be yours before being killed by your little brother after going to far in an attempt to steal his woman. You are not following the damn script here!" the voice hollered like a professional stage director.

"What nonsense! Why is there even a script? What about the freedom to live with our own actions?" I yelled back.

"Of course there is a script. I am Dao, all of your are supposed to quietly go about your lives and form the opinions that follow me, the Great Heavenly Dao! And that whole thing about opinions, they are supposed to form based on your experiences. I gave you, Lin Ye, the experiences required to fill the role of this story's first mini-boss. So Obediently follow through with your role or I will smite you off the face of this Universe!" Professional Stage Director Dao hollered back.

Suddenly, the sky brightened again and I found myself alone. Then General Liu barged into the courtyard place with his folks. Even an idiot would know that Professional Stage Director Dao had just reset time so I wouldn't show any kindness to my fiance…
