Jailed

Underground the Tailoring shop was cells housing different people of various races, they looked like nothing to the person next to them except filth. Luxury "goods" were held separated from common "goods", Men and women were locked in different cells.

There is only one exit to this prison, that is the upstairs leading at the back of the store, and to get to the stairs you must pass the one and only hallway.

At the end of the hallway, there are cells on each side, the one on the left was occupied by one girl and at it opposite cell was a chained mutated lizard man, at least that's what the people who chained it there though.

The lizardman was found in the academy impaled by a stone statue of a knight, all around him was burned debris truly a scene that makes someone think that the lizardman had faced retribution.

Even the healer couldn't believe who it managed to survive in such dire situation, it had various fractures on its bones and even had a huge "whole" on its stomach which should've made it bled to death.

But the slave trader was no ordinary man, he managed to keep this thing alive and even found many buyers. Slavo, was his name a slave himself before, but instead of having hatred for slave traders, he even wanted to become one of them and managed to become a successful one.

Slavo found the lizardman himself when he was out looking for "lost" noble girls, he always believed in the saying "Wherever there is danger there lurks opportunity, and whenever there is opportunity there lurks danger". Today, was just like any opportunity amidst the chaos he abducted various noble ladies, and manage to come across such a variant lizard.

"Rokke, go feed the witch and the lizard something nutritious will you? They'll be tonight's finale at the auction." Slave tasked his loyal assistant Rokke. If it weren't for him being easily tricked he would've been his right-hand.

"Yes, Boss!" Rokke then proceeded into the courtyard as he tapped twice on a huge wine barrel. Surprisingly, the barrel moved to the side revealing a spiral staircase. He then went down as he passed through cells ignoring the foul stench that reeks in the air.

He walked at the end of the hallway and took out a hard bread out of nowhere, and placed it on the entrance of the left cell where a black-robed girl was residing. He then did the same at the opposite cell where the Lizardman was chained, but this time he took a bite on spat on it first before putting it down.

"My food only consists of potato and I can only eat bread after boot-licking, and you get to eat a bread without doing anything? How f*cking ridiculous!" He then left after doing the task he was asked too. Feeding them hard bread or sometimes rotten, instead of gruel with few vegetables. It is obvious that his boss treats his slaves even better than his employees, which led them to become unloyal.

After a few seconds have passed since Rokke left, a small hand took the bread inside and begun munching on it. Crumbs after crumbs fell on the floor, but the girl didn't pay attention.

'What a waste!' All the slave were filled with jealousy but remembering the girls' identity, they just continued on gnawing at their corns quietly fearing they might disturb her.

Christian was woken up by the cold voice of the system, and something hitting him lightly in the head.

"Oww, IT hurts....someone blow on it!" Something went up on his eyes, obstructing him from seeing clearly.

Suddenly, the object that went on his eyes glowed as it removed itself from Christian's eyes. After that an apology was heard somewhere in the room:

"Sorry, I was just checking whether you were still alive or not..." a voice came from somewhere in front of Christian.

Christian squinted his eyes for a while until the wet sensation from his eyes disappeared. After Christian's vision cleared, he observed his surroundings. He was in a cell with not much light, apart from being empty it just looked like Earth's average spell.

Opposite his cell was the other cell exactly the same as his, but the "resident" of the cell wasn't chained. There was a bitten bread outside the iron bars, 'Is that my food? How the heck is I suppose to reach that!?' Christian smiled bitterly as he thought.

He then saw his "neighbor" bowing and apologizing.

"It's alright, if not for you I might've never woken up." Christian then tried pulling the shackles on his wrists the chained him to the wall.

After thinking for a while, Christian's body then glowed as it transformed into his human form. His body slimmed down a bit, and the shackle which was embedded in his scales before now looked like oversized bracelets.

"Ehh, Mahou Shoujo?..." His neighbor mumbled meekly if Christian heard that he would've questioned this persons sexuality and her eyes, but he didn't.

"Did you say something?" Christian then picked up the bread and just about to eat it.

"Don't!"

"Its probably just got eaten by someone, I'll just break it off."

"No, it's not that, do you see the dark spot at the end, Some guy spat on it!"

"Ehh?!?! Why didn't you just said so" Christian then threw the bread away hastily?

"Thinking about my lips were about to touch another man's saliva, feels gross..." He added

"Hehehe, I'm not really sure if that's what your supposed to say but you gotta hate that guy."

Christian then became silent, as he remembered how Maria was taken.

"Say, What's happening to Itreo now?" Christian asked as the attackers at the academy said that the king was killed.

"Itreo? you mean the Snow Front Kingdom?"
