Well, that’s all true. But for me is playing the game you like and still get money or get paid for it.

Hua Shu, a university student and game otaku, get invitation to become beta tester for a new game along with 3 his roommates. The new games title is “Zombie Hunter” take setting in after apocalypse world where zombies and mutants roaming all around the world. The tester who manages to survive until the test period ends will get ample bonus and prize.
Wait, doesn’t it sound so normal? Like ordinary game you play?

But not in this story.
Why? What’s the secret? What’s the hint?

Zombie Hunter

Hua Shu and his friends start to discuss what they just heard while waiting their turn for medical examination. None of them are overweight nor have diseases that prevent them to be a tester. Jing An was the first one who start to talk.


"Think about what?" Hua Shu replied indifferently.


Jing An : "You know…about this selection. Don't you think this a little weird?"


Mu Kui : "Right! I also feel they not search for skilled gamers instead healthy gamers"


Jan Cox : "They don't do shoddy activities, do they? Like some human experimental drugs or something?"


Hua Shu : "Relax guys, don't thinking too much. Maybe this medical base selection made because the genre of the games. Don't they already mention this game is not romantic adventures games?" 


Mu Kui : "Yeah! I bet this game genre is RPG"


Jan Cox : "No! this must be shooting game with lots of bloody scene. That's why those with weak heart can't play this game"


Hua Shu : "Brother Jan is right. I also think like that"


Jing An : "Guys, why don't we discussing in there, we can discuss while eat". Pointing at tables in corner with many snacks and drinks over it.


Hua Shu, Mu Kui and Jan Cox only can look helplessly at Jing An with same word in their mind "GLUTTON!!"


Hua Shu : "Fine, let's take something to eat and drink. As long as it's free, why don't we take it?"


Jing An : "Ahahaha…that's my brother!"


Jing An : "Brother Shu, after medical examination, what do you think they'll do for test?"


Hua Shu : "You ask me, I ask who ah? But if they told us to run ten laps then I start to believe they recruiting mercenaries than tester"


After all participants that get medical examination take their turns, they gathered again in that meeting room. Some participants especially those who overweight and have disease already take their leave. Still, the participants number exceeding over 100 peoples.


Xia Lan step up to the platform again and give her speech


"Ladies and gentlemen, that medical examination is the last selection process. We won't ask you to do sit-up, squat jump or running 10 kilos, or something like that. Those who selected will noticed through mail, and for those who failed, please don't get disappointed, there's still chances for us to cooperate in other event. Also all participants will get red envelopes like those who already left as token of appreciation. We thank you all for you willingness to attend our company event. Goodbye and we wish you all a safe trip home"


Sounds of clapping hands fill the meeting rooms, Xia Lan bows to the participants and step down from platform and walking out from the meeting room. One by one participant also leave the meeting room and return to their respective houses.


Mu Kui : "Brother Shu, what do you think about the medical examination just now?"


Hua Shu : "My opinion? Just like regular health check, why?"


Mu Kui : "Just regular? They do blood test and EKG too you know?"


Hua Shu : "Of course they will do that. Don't they mention weak heart and diabetic person aren't recruited? Blood test to measure your blood sugar level and EKG to detect anomaly in your heart. It's already good they don't do CT-scan to your brain or take bone marrow samples"


Jing An : "Brother Shu is so knowledgeable! But actually I'm just a little disappointed"


Mu Kui : "Huh? What's make you disappointed?"


Jing An : "I thought they will also take sperm sample. I already imagining a cute and beautiful nurse will help me to jerk....OUCH!"


Jing An can't finishing his sentence because 3 hands already smacked his head and his 3 friends shouting in unison : "PERVERTTTT!!!!!".
