Hua Shu, a university student and game otaku, get invitation to become beta tester for a new game along with 3 his roommates. The new games title is “Zombie Hunter” take setting in after apocalypse world where zombies and mutants roaming all around the world. The tester who manages to survive until the test period ends will get ample bonus and prize.
Wait, doesn’t it sound so normal? Like ordinary game you play?

But not in this story.
Why? What’s the secret? What’s the hint?

Zombie Hunter

"WHHAAAATTTTTT" that question marks sound suddenly sounded in the meeting room. Most participants shocked about how much price the pod has. One million dollars! That's enough to make a decent living for a lifetime unless you spend it extravagantly.


Jing An: "Bro, do you hear that? One million dollars"


Hua Shu: "As far as I know my hearing still working well, thank you. Of course, I hear that"


Jing An: "What will you do if you have it, bro?"


Hua Shu: "Hey, don't count your egg before the chicken lay it. If that pod really worth that much I probably sell it".


Mu Kui: "Wow, that's a rare event. Hardcore gamers like you will sell it"


Hua Shu: "I don't know if that pod compatible with other games bro"


Jan Cox: "Then why don't you ask for it?"


Hua Shu: " I already asking some question. I don't want to be center of attention. I'm afraid they will jealous of my handsome face"

The participants nodded hearing this explanation. "This pod already tested in our space station for 2 months, of course, we don't connect the pod with VR helmet. We just test its capability for life support. We just put a man to sleep inside the pod for two months and when the testing period over, that man didn't show any significant decrease on his health". 


Jing An: "Bro A Shu, how much electrical power needed to make that pod working?"


Hua Shu: "Ask him! That's a good question buddy. I don't want to be choked by electric bills if that pod need much electric power. Go on, ask him.


With encouragement from Hua Shu, Jing An raise his hand to ask a question


"Mr. Wang, how much electrical power needed to make that pod working?"


"Ah, another good question. Very good, I tell you that this pod didn't need your electricity from power plant because it has its own batteries to support its power need. Those batteries also our latest invention for energy sources. Your cellphone batteries, how long it last? 2 days? 3 days? Our pod has 6 batteries and each battery have the power to support the pod for 2 months. That's mean one pod with full batteries power can last for one year. It also can be connected with power sources to recharges. Isn't that good?"


This time woah woah sound come among the participants. They surprised with that pod ability.


Tony Wang still answering the questions for one hour later until no one asks the question anymore. Seeing no one raise any question, Xia Lan take over the speech


"Well, ladies and gentlemen. You have heard the technical explanation from Mr. Wang about our pod. And this pod will be a reward for those who reach top ten ranks in our testing. Isn't that exciting?"


"YEAAAHHHH!!!" … a loud agreement sound came from the participants.
