It was early morning a few giants started the day off hunting. The chief sent them out to get some mammoth meat for the kids. His third child was feeling sick as of late, and he hopes to rehabilitate him with good food.
"Why Chief say only mammoth?" A younger giant said to their leader.
"Mammoth meat for strong giants makes heart beater stronger!"
"Can have some?" Another giant said
"We need little for Chief's Child." Another giant said hopefully
"Fine, Only some." The leader said in a hesitant voice, he was like a father to them. He couldn't resist their little requests, they would just kill one more mammoth today.
Yesterday they had gone hunting for smaller creatures for lunch. But now they were going to be hunting for much longer, so they chose to go to their older campsite. There they could easily make it prepared and regroup easily. With the larger hunt requirements, they needed to save time somehow. When the reached the previous campsite it was still abandoned.
The giants looked around to be safe before they start another fire and sat down to make merry. Much to the leader's chagrin they became excited and played around. One of the giants started to jump around the campsite like a child.
"Who's the Merriest of them all?"
"Drabthos" A few giants yelled out
"And you'd best remember it!" He said as he did a ridiculous twirl.
Then he stepped in something, he looked down and noticed underneath the leaves there was something. He realized it was glowing restriction, that was filled with immense power.
"ARGHHH!" He yelled out in agonizing pain, as the restriction tore his leg apart on the inside. His leg muscles felt like they were in the wrong places. He fell back and moved away from the restriction and full power in a half crawl.
"RUN!" He yelled out but it was too late, the restriction spewed out immense darkness, the darkness went around consuming the space around them. It was like a legendary being supplanting the will of the heavens. They were confused as to what was going on, and couldn't see or hear each other.
"Can anybody hear me?" Drabthos said as he tried to get up.
Then when he could finally stand, he walked forward a small distance. Then he felt a small cut, as something moved past him quickly. He saw the glean of various blades throughout the darkness.
"Ow, what the hell was that?" He looked around carefully but it was too dark to see the culprit. Then boom he got another thin slice to his back.
"What the hell is going on?" He said in a scared stupor, it wasn't that the pain was that great. It was the sense of powerlessness and the lack of information that was overwhelming him.
He started to flail his arms around hoping to cause some damage to his assailants. But then he felt sharp pokes to his abdomen, he felt it and noticed arrows had quietly embedded into him. He ripped them out, and started bleeding; he questioned himself how hadn't he noticed it enter.
He even realized they didn't make a hole when the entered him. For a giant, his little mind couldn't comprehend what was going on right now. Then while he was distracted he felt further strange cuts from a fast moving figure.
"ARGHH FIGHT ME!" He yelled out but the only response was further arrows. He punched out everywhere hoping to escape into the light by destroying the dark.
But his sad attempts only failed as he received more and more wounds. He was becoming extremely blooded and light headed as thing proceeded. Then finally the giant fell, and bleed out in a crazed stupor of emotions.

A few days passed the campsite had become a bloody hell, with giant corpses completely obliterated and thrown around. A few more giants were sent because the first group hadn't returned.
"What do you think those idiots are up too?" A smarter giant said
"Making merry with mead like usual." Another giant responded
"Drabthos is just too lenient with them." The smarter giant said with a sigh
"Come on they are just kids." A giant with a scar on his left eye said.
"Scar you know how he is, he's a mentor too many but also too nice to everyone especially children." He said almost annoyed
"It's because he is kind that he is a mentor to anyone." Scar said in a wise tone.
"That's true." The smarter giant said as his face made a bright smile
But soon that smile was replaced with horror, they just walked on the giant campsite. He saw his mentor and the new recruits bodies decimated and thrown around. To a giant, the greatest disrespect was to a dead body. Their faces became alight with fury, and intense hatred.
"Which bastards did this!" The smarter giant said in anger, he walked up to Drabthos' corpse in sadness.
"Xigrog, calm yourself." Scar said as he looked around in suspicion.
"How can I calm myself?!?!" Xigrog said in righteous anger
He quickly walked into the campsite, and sadly for him, he stepped into another restriction. The darkness was once again released consuming the heavens. The fighting started with swords and arrows cutting at each giant's will to fight.
Slowly bleeding them out, and forcing them to give up their hearts. With their immense stature and power, it would take quite a while to regenerate.

"Estimates turned out much better than expected," I said as I watched the battle unfold, at first it was tough for the goblins and I lost a few.
But the second time was so much smoother, it was almost surprising that they could improve so fast. But after all, with my blessing and training, it was too be expected.
"This should lure out their chief, I'll take him by myself."
The only problem was that there are 10 giant warriors and only 7 have been deployed. The other 2 plus the chief must be the strongest powers. I would have to direct my orcs and hobgoblins to defeat the 2 extra giant soldiers.
But I had nothing to fear I have many cards to play. Like this restriction which I messed around with, it was the result of a few magic experiments I did with my free time. I myself am not yet able to conduct magic power to alter the void at that level.
But if I use a restriction and magic power supplied by my followers. I could create restrictions that could generate powerful magical phenomenon. I even got inspired by an even crazier idea based on this and a certain someone's transformation. But that would be for a later time, for now, I prepared myself for the battle against the giant chief.
After the goblins finished dealing the giant threat, I had them return to the village and fetch the full army. Earlier it was too inconvenient to bring the whole army, especially if we needed to escape. But now was the last stand, no need to hide any of my weapons now.
Graklak came leading my army with Pektog and Dazkieht right behind him. They had an awe-inspiring stance, it was kind of funny seeing them cooperate so well. When they reached where I was the giants were approaching, it was two powerful giants at the front.
Both had calloused hands and hardened fists from combat. Behind them was that giant from before, the giant that was just too fast for its level. But Pektog himself was too strong and talented, the common link is almost always death Qi.
Death Qi must be boosting his abilities to a certain extent, just like they did to Pektog. When giants entered the bloody hell, they didn't get angry or explode at all. They remained calm and looked around carefully, checking the ground from any issues. As well as looking at the positions of the dead to affirm the presence of traps.
They found one of my restriction from before, the one that the first giant stepped on. But sadly the magic power was depleted from them, as well as all the other restrictions. I hadn't ever hoped that my restrictions would help defeat these last few giants.
I just needed a way to let my goblins get an edge, and to lure the real threats out. When the giants found the first restriction they raised a stick and smashed the ground to pieces the restriction went along with.
"Scar, Xigrog, and Drabthos. I am sorry for sending you out here. I will personally bury your killer before you are brought back to life." The chief said in a solemn tone, to giants it was about honor and not about life and death.
I had desecrated their bodies in the hopes of riling them up into anger, which would make them easier to handle. Since they will follow my rhythm their crazed stupor of emotions.
