Release That Witch: The Story of Scroll
Scroll was once mentioned to have gained her ability because she always sought knowledge by reading. But what if there was also something else that could have influenced her abilities?
This is a short fan fiction of a short piece of Scroll's past when she was young and had met a man who had also loved books.
Maybe it was the cheerful atmosphere in the air, or maybe it was all the chaos drink that she had consumed throughout the night, but something inside of Scroll made her want to speak up and tell a story.
“I’ll go next,’ Scroll spoke up after the previous story. Everyone looked at Scroll expectantly. Out of everyone here, Scroll should have the most memory to remember all her encounters and all the things she has read. Surely her story would be everything but boring.
And slowly, Scroll began to recite her story.
In participation of the RTW fan fiction contest. I was one of those kids that received participation awards because I didn't excel in anything.
Hello. I want to give a quick and short review of this story. If I think about it, this story is the first non translation story that I finished reading on wevnovel.com and thats because I like Release That Witch and this story has short length (not alot of chapter). I guess I could categorize this story as bittersweet and more because Scroll would almost always remember. I guess average people could forget easily are also kind of a blessing for them because we could forget the bad memory. But since this story is short, do give it a try. No harms at all to read it.
4 stars because I wrote it, so I can't bash my own reading too bad. But not 3 stars because I did put a lot of effort into writing it and not 5 stars because looking back, it was really too cheesy.
