'Ignorance is a Bliss'

Similarly, when June drank the water from this river stream, he had expected that there would be a few similar kinds of minerals within it that won't be too much of a problem for his body to digest.

So, in that case, the 'TASTE INDICATOR' would only show a small number that might range from positive 0.001 to 0.02, but after taking a look again at this number that was negative zero point five, June could deduce some very ugly facts.

Fishes were not supposed to be alive in this kind of water.

So, either the grey fish was immune to this kind of poison which a normal fish living in a river stream would never be.

Or in the worst case scenario, this poison was made in such a way that it would only work particularly on the human body and not on the other animals, after all most of the animals drank water from the river stream as it was the only natural source of fresh water available on these hills.

"All of these people have been drinking this poisonous water for who knows how long!" June exclaimed in this mind.

Some people might think that after the regular consumption of this kind of poisonous water, a human body would develop some kind of poison resistance to it, but at the same time you can not ignore the possibility that, upon regularly consuming this type of water the after effects on them would severely reduce the effective functioning of the human body which would in turn lead to a decrease in most of their life span and indirectly making them weak against various kinds of diseases and illness which would be very lethal while living in a wild jungle habitat.

For example, if we take one hundred people with a normal human physique and make them drink only this kind of water every day for the rest of their lives.

The result would be that, considering only if they are extremely lucky, only one or maybe two out of these one hundred people would have a very slim chance of developing a proper poison immunity in their bodies to this kind water in their complete life time.

Let's not even talk about how long their lives would be once they start consuming this kind of water.

As far as June could notice, even with his amplified sense of "TASTE", there was no particular noticeable difference within the taste of the water of this river stream. It tasted just like any other normal mountain water from any normal river stream.

"How are these people still alive?"

"There are only a very few conditions that I could think of, where this kind of thing could happen naturally in any known kind of environment, as for the other cases."

"I can only wish that I am wrong"

"And also, that the Murphy's Law doesn't come into play in this situation"

After all there are many kinds of both good and bad things that are constantly happening all around us in the world all the time, that we would normally ignore in our daily lives.

Like when the child is young, he would normally ignore the most of the problems that are affecting his parents life, for example family's financial situation, school tuition, other kinds of debts, and infighting and friction within the family.

The reason for this is not because his parents want him to enjoy his childhood, but instead, simply because even if he could notice those problems, the mental and emotional part of his brain which does not have sufficient capacity and experience due to his less age, would not be able to make any proper and reasonable sense out of that difficult situation.

So, he subconsciously ignores them until his brain grows enough by collecting enough data through the experience in order to make the emotional and mental part of the child's brain strong enough to tackle those bigger problems of this world.

This makes an old statement sound very logical, and as we all can remember it sounded something like 'Ignorance is a Bliss'.

But in some cases where the brain of a little child is still faced with any of those worst kinds of situations, his mind would not be able to ignore these bigger problems any longer and would instantly start working on them by make them the first priority for his inexperienced brain to sort out.

That child would only focus on analyzing those difficult situations first instead of other simple things that his brain would normally enjoy doing, and this would indirectly lead to him ignoring most of the other beautiful childhood experiences of his life.
