Care for Presentation

The only important thing that he had kept in his mind while experimenting with those four herbs was that each of these four different types of spice combinations that were the result of his experiment must have their own 'unique' and 'intense aroma' which should be able to spread around with the air very easily and overshadow all of other smells in the surroundings, which was supposed to be even better than their already high quality taste.

Then he took some more time in carving out four more bowls but with a little smaller size than the first mixing bowl, from the blocks of wood with the help of his knife.

And then he started to fill those four smaller bowls with those four newly invented, aromatic mixtures of spices that he had just created after crushing the four herbs with the help of the mixing bowl and the pestle.

After that he patiently took his time in carving out some more extra utensils, which included a simple collection of plates which involved one large wooden tray, and eight smaller wooden plates a little bigger than the size of the grey fishes and he also carved eight, thin but around two and a half foot long, wooden barbeque skewers with the square handles.

They were certainly not one his best sculpting works so far but they would still do their jobs while also taking a little care of the presentation.

Then he took the knife and neatly made a few deep cuts on the bodies of all of the eight grey fishes that he had collected from the river stream, and without dissecting or removing any part from it and keeping the whole body intact, also in the form of a better presentation.

June had already checked all of these grey fishes that he had caught earlier with his amplified sense of "TASTE" after he had tasted the poisonous water flowing in that river stream, and the 'TASTE INDICATOR' had shown that the value was positive fifty eight, clearly indicating that those grey fishes were not poisonous in any way and were safe to consume for the body.

After making many small but precise cuts on the bodies of all of those eight grey fishes, June then used the four newly created unique flavored aromatic spices to evenly cover the bodies of those fishes from the inside as well as outside, and then he kept those fishes that were coated with the spices carefully on the big tray one after the another.

He had used each of the four newly created flavors to cover two grey fishes respectively, making it one flavor of spice used on two fishes each.

And even after covering all of the eight grey fishes, there was still at least half of the spices left in those four smaller bowls.

June then kept those four smaller bowls of mixed spices on the big wooden tray along with those eight grey fishes that were covered with aromatic spices.

While he was experimenting with the flavors, at some point he had noticed that the little Tinum had crawled down from his left shoulder on to the ground and was now looking curiously with his platinum colored eyes in the direction of those four smaller bowls of the mixed aromatic spices that June had prepared.

This was the first time that June had seen the little Tinum taking interest in any kind of food, and this also served as a kind of specialty check for all of his hard work in creating those unique mixed spices.

After that, he picked up the big wooden tray containing those eight grey fishes covered with spices and the four smaller bowls, that were half filled with those same spices and went out of the broken wooden hut.

After looking around for some clear space in the surroundings, June kept the heavy tray in the open area just outside his wooden hut, on the eastern side that was facing the direction of other wooden huts of the Soma village.

Then he brought the other eight wooden plates and the eight wooden barbeque skewers with the square handle that he had carved and kept them neatly side by side on the ground, and after that he went back inside his wooden hut and brought some pieces of dried up firewood that he had collected from before and kept them by the side of the big tray of fishes.

June had never even lighted a fire with the help a match stick or a lighter ever before in his whole life, forget about lighting a fire without it.

But the situations will keep on changing a person until the person can change those situations back and June was also not the same kind of person that he was before, before a situation such as this had hit him.
