Make money, spend money

I walked to the cashier and told her that I wanted 50 chips of 1 dollar each. She looked at me with pity eyes and sighed before handing me the chips and began looking at his phone while saying in a low voice "I shouldn't say this, but you are too young to be here at this time of day, don't become addicted and throw away your life" she didn't look at me while staring at the phone. She would be being watched I thought.

And another kind of warm employee, two in a row! I guess those 30 Luck points are no joke! I hope they would make my plan easier.

I warmly said "Thanks a lot, hope to see you soon" indirectly saying that I would be gaining money and exchanging it here.

I didn't wait for the answer and walked straight to the most famous card game in the casino. Texas hold 'em poker.

I sat down at the beginner table of that game that was available. There were all middle age people and one old one. They looked at me with mocking eyes and gestures like "What the hell are you doing here?"

I ignored their gazes and concentrated on the game while I tough of my ability and activated it. YES! I could see through the cards, if this didn't work out I would have to steal something to pay the additional fee besides the $50 of the pawn shop. Not even mention having to walk there with a lot of shame and hear the mocking voices of the employees.

Now I can relax and began my plan. I watched attentively and I could see through the cards on the table. But when someone completely covers them with their hand I was a goner. I hope they don't notice this.

Then I checked the dealer deck, I could see through 2 complete cards or if I focus on a corner I could see up to 4! One more than necessary but good to know.

Finally, they ended the round, one of the middle age guys won a pot of around $200 dollars. Not bad for a beginner table I though to myself.

I checked my cards, two Aces. Jesus fuck thanks 30 points of Luck! Now I have to train my poker face while I made a reasonable bet. I was the first after the guy who had the big blind, I was on his left. So I matched the big blind of $20 and added another $10.

Intermediately the middle guy on my left said "Ohh look at that big pile of chips, maybe you gather them cleaning glasses on the casino? HAHAHA" all the guys laugh even the dealer.

That was exactly my intention, to underestimate me, because of my age, my clothes (let's just say that and not that I don't have nice clothes at home either), and because of my poor choices of exchanging chips. And then little by little make them milk me their money!

My face dramatically change and panicked and "What? This is not intimating to you? Damn that expensive online guide lied to me!" This, of course, causes another round of laugh even from the neighborhood tables.

The dealer said impatiently "Ok ok, continue with the game please" because the more time they spent playing and losing the more money will go to his table bank. He earns a commission for every 1000 dollars the table bank gains. And he was near that amount but also near the end of his shift. it was a slow night. Only became active at this time of early in the morning because of this addicts.

They smiled and played. I could see everyone cards and learned how to fake and lose some games in porpoise just to lead them to my next game trap.

It was very fun to play when you see all their cards and they don't.

Eventually, I drained all of their money except for the old guy. He was a sly one. He was conservatively and very watchful, often checking my face to tell if I was lying or not. I was an amateur, even if I try to do a poker face I'm not a rival to professional players. I should get some hood and sunglasses like people on TV and take big stacks of money from a paper bag. That would be so cool!

Anyway, this was an open table but suddenly some old middle age surrounds us like we were on a tournament table one of them said "Look at that! That rookie is fighting head to head to the Old Toad!"

Another one added "Shh don't let him hear you, if not you are not going to gain a penny from poker tables again while he is here"

Meanwhile, on the table, I was fighting with all my focus on the table. Watching the cards. The problem was that this Old fucking Toad had a tendency to play with the cards on his hands really quickly while waiting for me. It was really difficult for me to see the cards, sometimes I could only see the type of card, not the number, sometimes only a blur since he spins the card so fast.

He noticed this, that was a mistake. He mostly though that he bother me doing that to break my concentration. So he even began to increase the speed.

Shit, this fucking toad. Next time I will come to play on weekends with old young people to disguise better and to have easier targets. That was a mistake of mine, too impatient. But don't blame me, I only have 30 days to live! Live the maximum of your life!

Anyway, I risked all, went all In having about 70% of probability of winning checking the dealer deck and my cards In hand. I have 3 pairs with the last card dealt. The toad smiled and said "Good played kid, but not enough, you have too much to learn" And showed the cards to the dealer. 4 FUCKING PAIRS.

I lost I was doomed, without a penny and my driver license probably will end sold to a drug addict and my name will end in the police database soon enough. WTF!! why I worrying about the police when I WILL PROBABLY DIE before that even happens.

While I was grabbing my hair in despair the Old Toad, threw a $100 chip and a gold card to me and said "If you are a good player you will succeed eventually and gain enough money to participate in the 4th-floor tournament. If not, don't even bother to appear in this poker tables again".

He left while I was stunned looking at the $100 chip and the card "4th Floor Tournament Pass for 10/06/2018". Shit that was in 3 days, I need to gather enough money to even qualify to enter that tournament.
