Shocking Ability!

In the second floor of a small two story house in the Green Rocky Village, a frail young boy could be seen lying in the bed sleeping with an innocent face. The boy seemed to be extremely pale as if devoid of blood.

At his side, two person could be seen talking to each other.

"This kid... I never thought this would happen. If I knew he would end up like this, then I wouldn't have agreed in letting the kid come with us from the first place." The man with a robust body said to the person next to him with a look of pity.

The other one with a slightly leaner frame spoke with a hint of sadness from his voice. "This is my all fault. I knew that the missions we take were always dangerous. Even the mission we took was of low standard as the ones we usually take, it still has its dangers but I got confident and ended up being protected by my own child instead."

Seeing his comrade's low countenance, he consoled him saying. "Its entirely not your fault. In fact, it is only natural to be confident about yourself as you are one of the strongest adventurer in the entire village, Martin." He paused for a few second before he continued. "Whats important is that the kid is still alive after receiving that kind of injury from that monster."

After the two chatted for a few minutes more, they eventually got out of the room after glancing at the young boy for the last moment.

--------------

A moment later, the originally sleeping young boy let out a sound. "Urgh.."

A few seconds had passed before he slowly opened his eyes. His line of sight was still a bit blurry but after a couple more seconds, he could eventually see his surrounding clearly.

'Where is this place?' He thought while looking it the appearance of the room. Surprise filled his face as he meticulously scanned the unusual room he was in. It would only be natural as the room was decoratively built like a medieval-like concept. If someone was here, they would exclaim in astonishment if they ever saw it. They would mistakenly think that they were brought back to the past where luxuriously styled houses were of scarcity.

Confused, he subconsciously propped himself up to have a clear view of the room. But as he was about to lift himself, an unbearable pain permeated from the area near his chest.

"Ack!" He couldn't help but moan in a painful voice as he unexpectedly found out that the area near his chest was throbbing with pain. He tumble back to his bed with the unbearable pain he was experiencing.

"W-what's this?" Due to the unexpected pain from his chest, he directly grabbed open his shirt's collar to check out the cause of the pain he was feeling. And upon clearly looking inside, he found out that there was a large patch of bandage wrapped around his chest area with a crimson taint on it.

"What the hell?" He paused, then continued. "What happened to me? Why did I have this kind of life threatening wound on my chest?" Unfortunately, no one could answer his question as he was the sole person in the room. Unable to know the cause, he gazed back at the unusual room he was in.

'Am I still inside Eternal World? But if so, why do I feel like this is the reality.' With no other option, he recalled everything that happened to him but could only remember the time from when he completed his mission and received a lot of information that flooded inside his head.

He don't know what those information yet, but since he was helpless at the moment, he decided to review the contents it contained. But when he was about to look at the information inside his head, he heard a light footstep drawing near towards his room.

Lin Feng was astonished when he heard the oncoming individual. Actually, what deeply astonished him was that he could hear this light footsteps that was still 20 meters away from him and with great clarity and with the door tightly closed at that.

Of course it is pretty normal to isolate or minimize noise when you shut the door in your room from outside. But this phenomena was out of the ordinary for him. It could only happen when his physical senses were trained or improved to the utmost. Even top military soldiers couldn't train their senses to this extent and maybe only some exceptional individuals possessed this ability.

But he knew that his original self wouldn't even attain this miraculous ability as he never trained his body except his mind from the intense gaming simulation.

Upon gaining this new discovery, he took advantage of this ability he possessed and further focused on heightening his senses. He discovered that this footsteps belonged to a light footed person, or a martial arts expert or even from a highly trained assassin. But of course there would be no such thing it would be the case as he knew that this world was not Eternal World Online but the real world.

So he assumed that these reserved footsteps belong to a female. But when this female approached 10 meters away from his room, he suddenly found out to his surprise that he could actually visualize everything within the surrounding where she was currently located.

He could actually see her appearance and even the surrounding wooden floor, and even the color of the walls towards the door to his room. Every little detail upon 10 meters from his surrounding were captured to every fine minute.

From this, another mind blowing shock surged towards his brain. Lin Feng also found out that he could actually think twice faster than before. It was actually like his peak self from the game, with enhanced stats and extreme senses.

'What was actually happening right now?' Confusion, ecstasy and excitement and a lot more emotion slowly filled his mind. But before he could savor this feelings, he discovered that the girl on his vision was about to open the door from his room.

Not knowing what to do, he thought even faster and after deducting a few plans, he dismissed it and just decided to fake sleep and decided to just play along of what information he could gain from her.

And as expected, the door slowly opened as the suspected individual finally set foot inside the room and gradually walked towards him.
