Somewhere In space:
An asteroid, by the name of Oumu, lurks within the darkness while steadily moving towards earth at a speed of 150,000 mph. It has been traveling for nearly 500 years from another star system. The asteroid was 10 times the size of the Eiffel Tower and emitted a strange aura as it transverse through the planes of space.
With each rotation around the sun, the asteroid quickly descends towards planet earth's atmosphere. It cuts through the exosphere, which causes it to lose speed from the resisting air pressure. Finally, after reaching the mesosphere, the Oumu is engulfed by hellfire-like flames reaching temperatures of 1800 degrees. Bits and pieces of the meteor chips off its body only to find the end of their demise as the hellfire flames quickly disintegrates it. The noise cuts through the air creating a sonic boom as it descends toward earth. With each piercing cry of sonic boom, the meteor continues to push through the earth's layers. It was as if an unknown force was pulling the meteor down towards earth…
In the Ancient Holy City of Tequila:
South of the continent of Farzen lies a bustling city ruled by witches. The Ancient Holy City of Tequila has been overruled by witches. Since the discovery of their magic powers, witches have been idolized as goddesses. Using their new-found powers, it was easy for them to bring influence throughout the continent of Farzen and eventually gain a large amount of power. For a small city like the City of Tequila, it was natural to see witches maintaining order and ruling over human. Powerless humans have long been accustomed to working as slaves, even nobles were reduced to roles of peasants and farmers.
A pigeon flies from the north side of the town and perches on the window sill. Attached to its feet is a small piece of rolled up parchment paper. A soft white hand approaches the bird's body. Grace grabs the note from the bird. [Hmmm… the witches I ordered to travel to the north continent of Farzen has some news for me] She thinks to herself as she places the bird into the cage. She focuses her attention outside the window and sees the sun beaming on the bustling town, [They have been gone for nearly a month now I'm very curious as to what they have discovered.]
Grace unravels the note and reads to herself [Our Dearest Grace, we have been traveling north for some time to search for additional slaves as you have requested. Using Ursula's ability, Eye of Vision, we have discovered multiple tribes and small villages. We have been tracking a small tribe and plan to capture them during the night of the full moon.]
Grace puts down the parchment and stands up from her seat. She thinks to herself [My ability to mind control and enhance the strength of the body will only work on the humans that have no magic flowing within them. If I want to start the Witch Union, I'm going to need as much slaves to control as possible.] A slight grin starts to form on Grace's face.
On the North Continent of Farzen:
North of the continent of Farzen lies a small village surrounded by the dense trees. Here in the small village of Watu, lives a small population of barbarians about the size of 25 people. Most of the population is composed of tribesmen as the need for hunters is encourage by the chief to ensure survival.
The barbarian tribe is celebrating their successful hunt of the warthog they have been chasing for several days. At the break of dawn, when the sun meets the horizon of the mountains, the festival is ready to begin. The chief lights the bonfire and the roasted hog is served to the tribe.
The smell of the firewood fills the air as the light that was once provided by the sun is now replaced with the burning bonfire. The festival is filled with laughter, music, and chatter. The tribe dances around the bonfire in celebration of the successful hunt. Christy steps out from the dance circle and takes a piece of the warthog to consume. She takes a seat on the wolf pelt near her brother, Amon.
"Great job Amon, I heard from the tribesmen that we nearly lost the hog, but with your brilliant plan, they were able to successfully trap the hog." Christy takes a bite from the piece of hog as she pats Amon on the shoulder to show a sign of gratitude.
Amon takes his attention away from the bonfire. "It was the effort of the tribesmen. I may be smart, but my body has been weak and feeble since birth. There is no need to give me any credit, there is no way I can compare to the strength of our chief hunter, Gale." Amon glances towards the bonfire to see several tribal women flirting with Gale. He thinks to himself, [If only I wasn't paralyzed from the waist down, I could train to be a fine hunter like Gale.]
Just as Amon finishes his train of thought, he hears rustling in the nearby bushes.
