Twins and the King.

[Ding! 820 billion different pieces of evidence taken into account. System can't explain to humans...]

Auryn and Avery both touched their heads at the same time before they put the card back in the envelope. There mom and dad were in the kitchen preparing dinner, so they had to eat their chicken soup in the kitchen without telling them about the party.

If they told them, they would want to attend, so they said they'd be going over too their friend Keva's. She was cute, mature, and the perfect excuse to leave and protect their parents from demons.

They now had to eat another meal tonight, so both of them pretended to be full before their mom and dad went to the kitchen to clean up the dishes.

A moment later, they jumped out of the window from their room and caught a vine bouncing off the walls. Outside, Keva was there about ready to knock at the door. She was wearing a gorgeous amber dress, and it was very short, which sort of caused Auryn to feel a little weird seeing as how her brother was thinking about her thighs.

"Uhm... you both knew I was going to knock, right?"

Auryn nodded her head and pat Keva on the back. "Ha, don't worry about. They'll think we're cultivating since we locked the room."

Keva nodded her head and then the trio proceeded forward. The dinner was on the 86th floor, and if there were demons there they'd have an army of soldiers to have to face.

In the Palace, Auryn and Avery felt at home. Alex, before he was shot in the head, used to live in an apartment building. This was like an apartment building in a city. A tower that was on an island, which was floating in the air and that was cozy for them.

They took an elevator, powered by a spirit stone, and were mesmerized by the rich vibe from the jade and diamond covered walls on the 86th floor.

Keva occasionally looked over at Avery with a blush on her cheeks, and Auryn tried to ignore it. Her vision was shared with Avery, so he was keenly aware that Auryn thought Keva liked him.

Regardless, there was a stone door on the 86th floor, and the trio walked in as a familiar guard guided them to a room with two crowned men. One of them was the pontiff, and the other was the king. Both twins started to sweat nervously as Keva felt her thighs start shaking.

"Ah, so you both really brought a plus one! Ha Ha," The king imagined they wouldn't bring an extra person, but here they brought Keva, the daughter of his cousin, which made it quite a bit harder for him and the pontiff to tell them their desires.

"So... you two little geniuses are too smart for genius school, aren't you?" The Pontiff poured some wine in Avery's cup, and then laughed. "One of the Magister, Callan, told us you beat the heck out of your fellow classmates without touching them."

The King was really big, even seemed bigger than his pictures on the wall, his Qi was deep like the ocean and his words sweet like waves.

"Uhm, we were just lucky," Auryn said as Avery nodded.

"Well, good! Now, can you show us your magic weapons, so the pontiff can accept your sweet sister as a healer. He's been eying her since day one!"

"Yes, let's hurry this up!"

The food was brought out as soon as the King said that. One flabbergasted waiter dropped the plates and ran off towards the kitchen to fill the rest of the table.

The children looked down and picked up their gold forks, and didn't know what to tell to the King.

"We're waiting, your highness, until they've developed a little bit more..." He gulped and picked up his fork, cutting his food briskly as his sister put her hand on a pair of lobster claws.

"Uhm... what he means to say is we're still growing our weapons. In a book we found in the yard, it told us waiting till the end of Qi Empowerment as its the best time to bloom the weapon." The weapon summons would be stronger, the system explained, after scanning the twins bodies. The max stage was level 12, and they were at stage 5.

The Pontiff seemed somewhat annoyed, but still picked up Auryn's hands. "You're going to be a healer my dear, and if anyone else tries to steal you away from me... They'll be.... delicious!" He chewed his food before the king laughed and looked at Auryn with similar but unsaid thoughts.

The dinner lasted for ten more minutes before the kids walked outside with a few bags of gifts from the king in hand. Even Keva was lock and loaded with all the goods. Her pockets were stuffed with low-grade stones, and beast cores for cultivation.

She waved bye before the two twins went back inside there room.

A few more nights passed before the system finally sent them a message.
